I live in HCM city, it’s the economic center of VN, where people from everywhere come
to visit, travel and take their opportunity to develop themself. There are also many
delicious foods and famous places such as Ben Thanh market, Idependence Palace,… I
really love living here, because it’s where I’ve lived for almost 20 years with my family
and friends.
Do you live in a house or an apartment?
I’m living in an apartment about 5 years with my family. It takes me 15 minutes to go to
the city centre by motorbike. This apartment isn’t too spacious but it brings warm and
cozy feeling to me. It’s a two-floor apartment with a kitchen, a living room, 3 bedrooms
and a balcony where my mother plans flowers and plants.

My favorite room is definetly my bedroom. It’s a cozy and private space, where I can do
whatever I want. Besides, it’s where I find peace and comfort, making it perfect retreat
after a long day. I tend to lock myself in my bedroom all day doing nothing if I have free
time.
Is there anything you don’t like about where you live?
I think I’d have to say that I really can’t stand being stuck in traffic during peak hours.
Being stuck in traffic is a common oceurence here and it occasionally adds a layer of
inconvenience to an other wise vibrantaty life such as making daily commutes longer and
more cumbersome.
Would you prefer to live in the city or the countryside?
I think I will live in the city in the future. Big cities bring me many good advantages, I
can get all the convenience of amenities such as stores, schools, theaters and hospitals.
Aside from these, cities offer many opportunites for jobs and social circles than the
countryside. I can also enjoy the bustling life of the city at night with friends.
What kind of place do you think you will live in the future?
I’ve been living in the city since I was born, my friends and relatives are all here, so I
think I will continue to stay in the city in the future. Big cities bring me me many good
advantages, I can get all the convenience of amenities such as stores, schools, theaters
and hospitals. Aside from these, cities offer many opportunites for jobs and social circles.
Also, when I’m grow enough, I want to live in a stylish city apartment with a modern,

No, unfortunately, I don’t have a garden. I live in an apartment so space is limited.

protect me in various ways, they always want me to be happy and they want me to

connection of living with family, so living alone might be a bit difficult for me.

In my opinion, it is better to live alone than live with other people. Living alone means
you can enjoy a tranquil environment without the hustle and bustle of roommates, make
your own rules and decisions without having to consider anyone else. Besides, you can
maintain your living space to your own standards, without having to compromise with
other. As for living with other people, you have to share your living space with others,
sometimes you will lead to disagreemnets or conflicts, especially if you have different
life style.

Yes, I have moved house once when I was 18. I was so excited to have my own room for
the first time. And I have lived there since then, and I continue to live there now. I really

in each episode. I have bought a lot of books for the past few years, and now I have a big
collection in my room.
What are the most popular hobbies in your country?
I believe that youngsters in Vietnam have a thing for cafe-hopping. You can visit a coffee

also quite common among Vietnamese youth. That’s why a lot of young people in
