ADVANTAGE OF WORKING WHILE STUDYING
1. From my point of view, working and studying at the same time have certain benefits. The most
important benefit is money. Of course, money is the factor that leads you toward a part-time job.
You can earn extra money from your part-time job if you just work a few hours a week. With that
amount of money, we can pay for our living expenses such as food, books, or parking without
asking our parents for money. And I think that will reduce the burden of your expenses on your
parents.
2. The next benefit is that we will learn how to manage our time effectively. It’s an important soft
skill for everyone because you must manage your time in a way that both your study and work
won’t get affected, so you must how to balance study and work appropriately. We can’t prioritize
one over the other.
3. Another benefit is that we can gain various work experience. The part-time job gives real-life
work experience. This will help in getting a job after study completion. Employers look for
employees who understand the work environment and work well as part of a team. Having part-
time job experience shows that you have some exposure to the real world, and it will give you an
advantage over other candidates during a job search.
4. And the final benefit is that we have networking opportunities. Well, during your part-time job,
you will meet many people from the professional world. This is a great opportunity to grow your
network.
