 On August 1, 2023, ABC Co. (Vietnam) signed an
import contract of animal feed from DEF Co. (Japan)
under payment by D/A 60 days after sight.
 On August 8, 2023, DEF Co, delivered, collected
documents, drew a Bill of Exchange (B/E) and sent all
to Mitsubishi Bank for Collection. The bank, then,
issued a Collection order and transfered all
documents, together with B/E to Vietcombank, Ho Chi
Minh city to request payment from ABC.
 Vietcombank received Collection order, all documents,
and B/E from Mitsubishi Bank on August 12, 2023 and
notified ABC Co. without delay. Along with its notice,
Vietcombank also sent the B/E to ABC Co. for
acceptance in case ABC agreed to pay. Question 15 (cont.)
 ABC received Vietcombank’s notice and B/E on August
13, 2023. However, after confirming with carrier, ABC
found that the shipment had not arrived yet at that
moment. Therefore, ABC delayed signing in B/E Acceptance.
 On September 15, 2023, ABC received Arrival Notice
from the Carrier informing that the vessel would arrived on September 18, 2023.
 On September 18, 2023, ABC accepted B/E in exchange
for Documents in order to receive the shipment. Questions:
1/ Is the fact that ABC refused to accept the B/E on August 13 reasonable?
2/ What is the payment time for the B/E in this case?
