TASK 1: Describe the pictures using Present Continuous tense
Picture 1: This picture was taken out on the river. There are two people in the
picture, maybe father and son. They were rowing boats together on the big
river, laughing and talking happily. Behind them there are many trees along the
riverbank. They look very happy and excited, I feel happy when I look at this photo.
Picture 2: This picture was taken outside. There are many people in the
picture. It looks like this is a photo shoot and record. A man holding a video
camera. The woman is singing and the man is kinda dancing. The weather
seems quite hot but they are still working hard for the filming. Surrounded by
spectators watching. They look very focused and I feel like they have a lot of energy.
Picture 3: This is a picture of shopping. I think this is in a supermarket with
stalls displaying goods. There are two women pushing shopping carts. One
person is looking at goods in the right stall. The other is picking up an item in
the left stall. Their shopping carts all have a variety of goods. They look very happy while shopping.
Picture 4: The picture shows a discussion.There are three people in the picture,
two women and one man. They are wearing suits and look very polite. The
woman on the right is talking while the others are looking at her. In front of
them there is a table with lots of equipment. They have a very comfortable
working space. I like this picture.
Picture 5: This picture was taken at the office. In this picture, there are three
men, four women and three children. They are a big family having a party
together. The man in the red shirt was saying something and everyone seemed
excited about it. They look very happy and cheerful.

TASK 2: Read each question and create a two-sentence answer that gives
one piece of supporting information and adds one detail. Use the vocabulary given.

I like science-fiction films because they’re so interesting. One of my favorites is Avatar.

I like rock music. Because it has great lyrics that you can sing along to.

I really like going to the beach, especially Bondi beach, a very beautiful
beach in Australia. I hope one day I can come here to swim and relax because it is so beautiful.

I really like to meet friends at the ZoneSix coffee where the atmosphere
is very fresh. Good food is also available.

In every difficult situation, the person who gives me advice is my
mother. She always understands me and gives me useful advice to solve
my problems. I really don't know how to thank my mother for giving me
advice and I respect her so much.

My favorite food is traditional food because they are very delicious. One
tasty traditional food is Banh Chung.
6. What kind of person do you want to make friend with? [ honest/friendly/ believe/ share]
I want to make friends with someone who is honest and friendly. That
person will always believe and share things about life with me.
7. Who do you like going on vacation with? [ family/ being together/ happy]
I like going on vacation with my family. Because being together will be very happy.

The most important thing to me is health, studying and doing other things.

During the year, my favorite season is summer. Because summer is a holiday, I can go swimming

I like autumn the most among the four seasons. Because it's cool,
comfortable, and suitable for going out.

Yes, I often play sports, and play badminton. I usually play twice a week
because playing sports makes me stronger, and reduces stress.

I like to eat at home. Because I like to eat together with my family, and like the food my mother cooks!
3. Do you like reading books? How many books do you read a year?
Yes, I like reading books. A year, I read about 20 books. I learned many
things through and I feel positive energy when reading books.
4. Where do you study? Why do you choose your present university?
I’m studying at Duy Tan university in Da Nang. I choose to study at
Duy Tan university because I love this education program.
5. Do you like traveling? How do you like to go?
Yes, I love traveling. I like to travel by a tourist car with many seats. My
family will go together to beautiful places and enjoy the trip.
6. When is your birthday? What activities do you often have on your birthday?
My birthday is on April 2. On this occasion, I usually have a party with
my family. We sit together around the hearty table and sing the “Happy
birthday” song. Then I make a wish, blow the candles and cut the cake.
7. Do you like surfing the Internet? How often do you use the Internet?
Yes, I like surfing the internet. I often surf the internet on the tiktok application.
8. Do you love learning English? Why do you learn English?
I don't like learning English, because it's not easy. but learning english is important, I have to learn
9. When do you feel happiest ? Why?
The moment I feel happiest is when I am with my grandfather. Because
next to him I can be myself, be a little princess. My smile will always bloom when I'm with him.
10. Do you like listening to music? How often do you listen to music?
No, I don't often listen to music. But I will listen to music when I'm in a
bad mood because it helps me relieve stress. Sometimes music is also a
