REVISION UNIT 6: HEALTH
● Cấu trúc câu bị động nâng cao:
1. Sử dụng cấu trúc bị động với các dạng động từ khiếm khuyết ở hiện tại và quá khứ.
Eg: Everyone should be encouraged to eat healthily.
My computer must have been hacked.
2. Những động từ được theo sau bởi to V hoặc V-ing cũng có thể được theo sau bởi to V
hoặc V-ing ở dạng bị động.
Eg: She hopes to be accepted into medical school.
I hate being told what to eat.
3. Có thể đưa ra các ý tưởng và quan điểm bằng cách sử dụng các động từ think, believe,
say, know, report, v.v. với các cấu trúc bị động.
a. It + bị động + that:
Eg: It is estimated that we need eight hours’ sleep each night.
In the past, it was thought that bathing was bad for you.
b. Chủ ngữ + bị động + to V (Hành động to V xảy ra sau hoặc đồng thời với hành
động bị động, thường đi với các động từ expect, want, require, ask, need, allow, advise,
order, believe)
Eg: Cigarettes are known to cause lung cancer.
The patient is expected to recover soon.
c. Chủ ngữ + bị động + to have V3 (Hành động to have V3 xảy ra trước thời điểm nói,
dạng chủ động, nhấn mạnh quá khứ, thường có động từ hay gặp believe, think, say,
report, consider, know)
Eg: Heart disease is known to have caused over 80,000 deaths in the UK last year.
He is believed to have stolen the money.
