Street food is fast and easy food. People buy it outdoors - in markets, at bus stations,
at the beach, and in other public places. Fast food (pizza, hamburgers) isn't street food. Fast
food is the same around the world, but street food is different in every country.
There are many vegetarians in India, so many types of Indian street food don’t have
meat. Chaat and pani puri are popular Indian street food. Chaat is small cakes with Indian
sauce and some yoghurt in them. Pani puri is balls with potatoes and sauce.
In Mexico, there is corn with butter and cheese everywhere. Also, the Mexican
bread, tortilla, is often made from corn. There are usually beans and vegetables in tortillas.
There is sometimes some meat, too. But be careful - Mexicans love hot chillies in their tortillas, too! Questions
