MUSIC CLUB
Part 1
1. How many people in your family? There are 3 members in my family.
2. What is your hobby? My hobby is playing badminton.
3. What did you do last night? I went to a cinema with my roommate last night.
4. How do you go to work? I usually go to school by motorbike
5. What kind of music do you like? I love Pop music
Part 2: Please tell us about the last time you listened to music. Write in sentences. Use 20-30 words.
The last time I listened to music was last night when I did my homework. I really like Pop music, especially is Kpop music and my favourite band is BlackPink. In my free time I often listen to music because it helps me feel relaxed after a long tiring day.
Part 3: You are a member of a music club. You are talking to three other members in the music club chat room. Talk to them using sentences. Use 30-40 words.
A: Hi! How often do you listen to music?
Music has helped me a lot, when I am sad or happy I always turn to it. I think it’s like my soulmate. So I listen to music everyday and it’s like an indispensable thing in my life.
B: I plan to give my son music lessons but he doesn't like it. What should I do?
I think each of us has our own preferences so we shouldn’t force others to do things they don’t like. If your son doesn’t like studying music, you should ask him what his interests are. And then focus on developing those interests.
.
C: Do you agree that music is important in culture I completely agree with this opinion. As you know, each country has its own typical music and it partly shows the culture of those countries. You can even learn about different cultures through their music.
Of course I think music is very important in culture. For example, in Korea their music is very popular. Because they have their own cultural characteristics so when we mentioning this country, people definitely think of music first. Therefore, I think we should listen to music from many countries because if you listen a lot we can learn different cultures through that music.
Hi Minh,
How are you these days? We haven’t talked to each other for a while. I hope everything goes well with you. Have you received the notice of the Music club? I feel so sad because some people around complained about this concert. But it’s okay and I have an idea that my yard is very large and I’ve already asked my parents (FOR)their opinion. They will be very happy if the concert is held there. Please write back to me as soon as possible.
Your friend,
Van
2. Viết email cho quản lý clb. Bày tỏ cảm xúc và bạn nghĩ clb nên làm gì trong tình huống này. Viết từ 120-150 từ
Dear Sir,
My name is Thuy Van, I have been a member of the Music club for 2 months. I am writing this email to express my feelings and suggestions about the notice that I have received from our club recently.
To be honest, I feel disappointed about the way you manage the club. Because there are many times when you divide the work inappropriately. As a result, last week’s concert was not as successful as expected.
To make essays better, I would recommend some suggestions. I think you should divide time and work clearly for everyone. I know managing a club is difficult. If you find it difficult, please discuss with us and we will definitely help you in some way. Don’t keep silent, please share with us if you find it too difficult. I know this club is your passion so let’s help it develop further. I believe we can do it together.
I hope that my suggestions are useful for you to keep members satisfied. I look forward to hearing from you if my recommendations are accepted
Your faithfully,
Bien Le Thuy Van(.)
