1. Do you make friends easily? WHAT – WHY
Yes , I do . I find myself as an extrovert person, so I can start-up a new conversation with
others people without any hesitation or fear.
2. What is a best friend? WHAT - HOW
A best friend to me is a person who is always stand by me whenever I need help,
understand and support for me, it’s mean believe in my potential to reach my dreams
3. How many people do you consider your "best friends?" WHAT - HOW
There are 3 peoples. Because they understand who i am and what i need.
They ready to stay even when everyone else has left
4. What is the most interesting place you have ever visited? WHAT - HOW
Last summer, I had a chance to visit uncle Ho’s hometown where is the most interesting place I have ever seen
I am impressed by the cottage which is surrounded by natural beauty
It’s looks peaceful with the tranquil of shaded street
5. Do you prefer traveling alone or in groups? WHAT - WHY
Personally, I prefer travelling in groups because it looks safer and also, I enjoy taking photos
So going with groups can take a lot of wonderful picture while going alone doesn’t have any of that.
6. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? WHAT - WHY / WHAT - HOW
I would choose to live in Switzerland , because it’s has wonderful landscape with open space
like mountain, river, trees, . I imagined I had a chance to heeling in there, standing in the
sun and feeling this natural beauty . It’s so amazing!
7. Who are your favorite sport stars? WHAT - WHY
My favorite sport stars is Justin Bieber. Sport isn’t the main of his career, he is a singer. But he
can play basketball very well, and beside singing, playing basketball take a big part of his life.
8. Can you name some extreme sports? WHAT - WHY
windsurfing, skiing, skydiving …=> Because they’re dangerous sports and might injure the players 9.
If you had to choose one extreme sport to try, which would you choose?
I’m gonna choose skydiving because I can see all the landscape
10. Can you give an example of culture shock? WHAT - WHy
Language barrier, weather, the traffic rules, different taste in food
11. What trouble might you run into when you come to a foreign country? WHAT - WHY
+ Because we are not living in the same society. They will have different ways of living,
eating, languages which might be hard for me to cope with.
12. What advice would you give to a foreigner coming to a Vietnamese wedding? WHAT - WHY
+ Giving the bride and groom money for wedding instead of giving them presents.
+ It’s a tradition in Vietnam to do that as well as it will go on for many years.
13. Which professions are very well-paid these days? WHAT - WHY
Personally, I think professions which are related to technology are well-paid such as IT,
freelance . Due to the development of technology, pp can solve tasks more easily and
quickly while still ensuring accuracy via computer and phone. Besides, these job have
flexible working time and location so pp can do multiple jobs at the same time
14. If you could do one job just for one day, what would you do? WHAT - WHY
I want to be a chef because I love cooking and I want to cook delicious dishes in a 5-stars restaurant like Mastercheft
15. If every job is paid the same amount of money, which job would you prefer to do?
16. What is good and bad about using public transport? WHAT - WHY / WHAT
+ Using public transportation can save money and avoid traffic jam because it’s affordable
as well as it can drive a lot of people in one trip.
+ Public transport is crowded in peak hours which leads to inconvenient for customers on the ride.
17. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using private transportation such as a
car? WHAT - WHY / WHAT - HOW
( + ) it’s convenient for privacy, save time , can take own decision about the journey
( - ) get a high risk of environmental pollution , make traffic jam
18. What is the most environmentally friendly form of transportation? + Bike
+ It doesn’t require energy to run and it is also light, small so it can fit in many types
of roads as well as it does not cause traffic jam and exhales ( eks’heil ) toxic smoke.
19. What do you think about going dutch? WHAT - WHY
It depends. If that’s a partner or a person go on a date with me, I would expect them
to pay all of the expenses but if that’s a friend, I would agree to go dutch
20. How long does it take for dating to become a relationship? WHAT - WHY
I think it's about 3-5 months because I’m a picky person and I would like to know them as much as I can.
21. Is it okay to date someone your friend already dated? Or are they forever off-limits?
+ No, i don’t think that it’s okay to date the person that my friends has already dated.
+ It can have negative impact on my friend relationship and I don’t like to be in a mess.
22. Are qualifications important? WHAT - WHY + Yes, they are.
+ Nowadays, many jobs require qualifications and degrees. This helps to qualify the
contendants as well as their abilities.
23. Have you got any English qualifications? WHAT - WHY
I don’t have any E.L qualifications in present. But I think I gonna study to take the IE band 7.5 degree in the next 2 years
24. What English qualifications do you hope to acquire for your future job?WHAT - WHY + I think Ielts.
+ Many jobs require that qualification as well as my specialized subject about
translation and interpretation
25. What is the best place to sit during a lecture? WHAT – WHY
I think it must be near the professor’s table , from first to third table . + It’s easier for me
to talk to the teacher and have better performance in class as it is near the board.
26. What factor impacts students’ academic performance? WHAT - WHY
In my opinion, there are many factors impact student’s academic performance such as
professor’s teaching style, environment, time or the concentration in class . But I think the
concentration in class is the main factor affecting their academic performance because it
decides the quality of each lesson in all jurney.
27. Which would you prefer to be: a big fish in a small pond or vice versa?
I prefer to be a small fish in big pond because the environment is very important for me, live
in a community of many talented people will motivate and promote me to work more and
more , try to best to develop myself while vice versa don’t have this feeling .
28. What physical activities do you usually do? WHAT – WHY
I often play volleyball in my freetime with friend. It’s funny and help us to relax after study.
29. What kind of risks do sportsmen take?
What kind of risks do sportsmen take? WHAT - HOW
+ Sportsmen might be at risk of getting injuries, such as broken bones, head injuries or even taking their own lives
+ Sports are found quite dangerous towards the players. It requires bravery and skills in order not to get hurt.
30. Which of these sports do you think takes the most risks: bungee jumping, skiing off-
