Plants died -> short of food -> no food 4 dinos -> become ext -> died
gradually and slowly over cent

Huge ast hit the earth ~ 65 mill yrs ago -> huge cloud of dust -> covered the
earth & blocked out the sun over months -> plants died -> food disappear
5) Late 20 centuries
Found large amounts of element called “iridium” – layer of earth ( 65 mill
yrs old) = bones of last dinos -> not common on earth & near surface -> a
lot in space => arrived when hit the earth 65 mill yrs ago
6) Asteroid theory explains 2 things:
Why large amount of elem iridium in 65 mill yrs old layer of earth
Food vanished -> dinos disappear
Still debate 2 theories -> will find out that dinos died out = disease in near
future.
