On the one hand, those who support the idea of very young children compulsorily starting their primary
education point to a widely observed bene 昀椀 t. It is believed that this educational method can allow
parents to have more time to work and focus on their career, meaning that they can earn more money.
Supporters of this notion also claim that thanks to extra and stable salaries, such fathers and mothers do
not worry much about income on a monthly basis and thus avoid stress or any mental issues related to the
lack of 昀椀 nance. This can be seen in Vietnam where children tend to go to pre school at the age of
about 1 year old, which lets their parents return to o ces and continue their career.
There is a common belief that minors should enter schools as soon as possible while others argue that they
should only do this after 7 years old. Personally, I tend to side with the latter and I will explain why in this
essay.

students in almost Asian nations and it is believed that children become more obedient after a short period
of learning at school.
On the other hand, proponents of delaying education among minors till the age of 7 often state that this
notion seems more advisable. A point in favor is that in modern families, almost parents lead an extremely
hectic lifestyle during the day time, leaving little hours to establish a strong bond with their children. In
other words, the idea of formal education at an early stage may decline opportunities to gain emotional
relationships as well as mutual understanding among family members. Instead, not only can allowing
children to go to school after 7 years old lengthen the time spent together within a family, but this also lets
them be more well-prepared prior to their 昀椀 rst days at school, both physically and mentally.
In conclusion, it appears to me that the stronger argument is in favor of children enrolling in o cial
education after the age of 7, with the advantage of having more quality time with their parents and a fully
developing stage. This is provided that their parents’ work-life balance is ensured; otherwise, kids may be
left alone at home and su 昀昀 er isolation.
