GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING THE PRESENTATION
SUBJECT: ENGLISH 11 GLOBAL SUCCESS
SEMESTER I ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026
GROUPS 1-5 (5-6 members/group)
Students will choose ONE of the following topics and prepare a presentation (15-20
minutes)
1. The Generation Gap (Week 5-7)
2. Cities of the Future (Week 7-9)
3. ASEAN and Vietnam (Week 9-11)
4. Global Warming (Week 11-13)
Students must narrow their chosen topic and present it in the format of an interview, talk
show, or conference.
Steps to follow:
1) Narrow Your Topic
Do not try to cover everything. Pick one clear, specific focus.
2) Choose a Format
Interview
Roles: Interviewer + Guest
Structure: Short intro → Q&A (6–8 questions) → Key message → Audience Q&A
Talk Show
Roles: Host + 12 Guests
Structure: Opening → Guest opinions/stories → Solutions or advice → Audience
Q&A
Conference/Panel
Roles: Moderator + 23 Panelists
Structure: Moderator intro → Short talks by panelists → Moderator questions →
Audience Q&A
Power Point Presentation
3) Structure & Timing
Every format should include:
Introduction (time?): Hook your audience with a question, fact, or story
Main Points (time?): 23 key ideas explained clearly
Solutions/Takeaways (time?): What should the audience remember?
Conclusion (time?): Wrap up with one strong message
4) Draft / Outline to Submit
