Let's talk about doing exercise
1. How often do you do the exercise? ( what/ how often/ where/ with whom/ why?
=> I’m really into the exercise but I’m very busy, so I exercise maybe once or
twice a week. The exercise that I like the most is Yoga because it helps me to keep fit and stay healthy.
2. Would you prefer to do the exercise alone or with someone else?
=> I prefer to do the exercise alone because it’s peaceful and I want to
concentrate to push myself to my limits (day den gioi han cua ban than).
Moreover, doing the exercise helps me to reduce stress and depression. (giam cang thang va tram cam)
3. How important is it to do the exercise?
=> There are some reasons that I think it’s very important to to the exercise.
Firstly, exercise controls weight: the more intense the activity is, the more
calories you burn. Secondly, exercise helps prevent many health problems and
diseases such as: stroke, high blood pressure, many types of cancer,… Finally,
exercise improves mood: You may also feel better about your appearance and
yourself when you exercise regularly.
Let’s talk about Favourite beach
1. What is your favourite beach in Viet Nam?
=> My favorite beach in Viet Nam is Vung Tau. It’s about 100 kilometers from
my house by motorbike. Vung Tau is really an ideal spot to change the atmosphere. 2. How often do you go there?
=> I go there maybe in summer every year. But it may be 2 years ago since I
last went to the beach. That time I went to Vung Tau with my family and the
journey was fantastic with lots of interesting activities.
3. What do you often do when you are there?
=> Vung Tau is really interesting. When I’m there, I often go swimming, spend
most of time photographing and strolling along the beach. Besides, I also eat
some of the seafood at Xom Luoi market such as: shrimp, crabs, fish,… The
seafood there is very fresh and tasty. Talk about Favourite place
1. When you are sad, where do you often go?
=> When I’m sad, I often go to sister’s house. The reason that I like the place is
that the house is located in the suburbs of the city and I have adore places
which are peaceful and away from the city.
2. Do you prefer there alone or with someone else?
=> When I’m there, I meet my sister and we spend time discussing on the
matter which we deem to relevant to our lives. Then, I feel relieved (nhẹ nhõm)
and relieve (giảm) pressure.
3. Which places do you recommend your friends to go?
=> When you're sad, I think the best place you can go is a peaceful place where
someone can comfort (an ủi) you, give you advice and relieve your sadness. Talk about Sleeping habit
1. How many hours a day do you sleep?
=> Actually, it depends. If I have nothing much to do, I will sleep about 8 to 12
hours a day. In contrast, I have to finish my work on time, I sleep about 4 to 7 hours a day.
2. How important is it to have a good sleep?
=> Absolutely, it’s very important to have a good sleep. A good sleep helps to
improve memory and learning, increase attention and creativity, and aid in making decisions.
3. What should we do to have a good sleep?
=> I guess people have different ways to get a good sleep. I think, firstly,
horror movie make you feel stressful instead of relaxed so they need to be
avoided. Secondly, it is advisable that a good sleep lasts for 7-8 hours so
staying up late is not preferable. And lastly, you shouldn’t eat snacking or
having a big meal before going to bed.
Talk about Traditional music -> I’m going to talk about the topic …
1. Do you often listen to traditional music?
=> Oh, sometimes. I cannot listen to traditional kinds of music such as “ca tru”,
“cai luong” or “cheo”. I really like listening to songs created during the war.
Maybe because my grandfather was a soldier , he often told me stories about his years in the army.
2. What is your favorite song?
=> My favorite song is Love Story by Taylor Swift who is a singer and
composes this song I have loved always and would hear often for the rest of my
life. Taylor Swift is famous for her pop ballad songs and beautiful lyrics.
3. How important is traditional music in your country?
=> Music is one of the main ways to express national tradition. For instance,
every country has their own songs about new year and each has different
melody as well as their typical (ti pi cal) feartures. In addition, traditional
music also reflects culture, heritage and history of that country. Talk about Happiness
1. Are you a happy person? Why?
=> Yes, I think so, I do smile a lot and most of the time I feel really
cheerful. There was a time that was different, but now I would say I have
a good life and nothing to feel bad about.
2. What usually makes you happy?
=> Many things can make me happy, for example, morning walk because I
feel very refresh and energetic after it. Other things are shopping, spend time
with my family also make me happy.
3. Does the weather affect the way you feel?
=> In my opinion, weather can really affect our feelings. Our moods can
brighten and darken depending on the weather of sunny, rainy, stormy or
windy. for example in the summer days, the more people are likely to get angry
because they feel hot when going outside. Talk about Newspaper
1. How do you often get daily news?
=> Well, as part of my daily routine. I prefer online news. I keep myself
updated by subscribing to some publications such as Tuoi Tre or Thanh Nien
and track the news in my free time.
2. How do people in your country get daily news?
=> In my country, people get daily news as they want to be by following the
news available from traditional sources like newspapers, TV, radio and the most popular is online news.
3. Do you think international news is important?
=> Yeah, I believe international news is as important as national news. People
will know much better about the international affair and the relations between
countries. / With better understanding of these international affairs which may
be related to financial and economic information, people will become more
informative when they make investing decisions. Talk about Favourite flower
1. What is your favourite flower?
=> My favorite flowers is sunflower. It represents strong will and
independence. I set the picture of a sunflower as my desktop background in
order to remind me of the goals that I am going to achieve.
2. How often do you buy it? On what occasions?
=> I often buy it in the supermarket on occasions such as: on birthday party,
Women’s day, or Valentine’s day,…
3. Is this flower popular in your country? Can we plant it?
=> I think rose is very popular in my country and It’s easy to plant it Talk about Body language
1. Do you often use body language?
=> I often use body language such as facial expression, eye contact or hand
movement to express what I am trying to say in order to make other people deeply understand my purpose.
2. What situation do you use body language?
=> I use body language when I want to have a better communication.
3. What are benefits of body language?
=> Body language plays an important role in everyday communication because
body language helps us connect with people better. It will allow us to expand our communication abilities. Talk about Ice-cream 1. Do you like ice-cream?
=> I really like ice-cream b/c it’s very delicious. And ice-cream is perfect for any season.
2. What is your favourite kind of ice-cream?
=> There’re many kinds of ice-cream. However, I like most chocolate ice cream.
3. Is ice-cream good for health ?
=> Although it’s not very good for health, it makes me relaxed and helps my sadness go away.
Talk about my high school days
1. Did you enjoy your time at high school?
=> High school was one of my most unforgettable time of my life because
when I was at high school, I had a great fun there in which I met up and made
with new friends, learned new things, new skills and new challenges that are very helpful for present work
2. What subject did you like or dislike? Why?
=> When I was at high school, I was really keen on learning English which has
been one of my most favourite subjects.
3. What would you like to change about your school days?
=> Well I had a lot of great fun there , hence I think I had no ideas to change any thing in my school days Talk about the game show
1. What game show on TV do you watch?
=> In Viet Nam there are many interesting game shows, however among these,
I often watch the game show “ Who is the millionaire?” which is a very
popular show in my country, in which it not only helps us to relax, but also enrich our knowledge.
2. Do you prefer to watch alone or with someone else?
=> I always prefer to watch the game show in the evening wwith my family
because I would like to spend more time with them. It’s the time for our family
member to get together to talk, to discuss about sport
3. What are the benefits of watching game show?
=> It’s true to say that watching game show brings us a lot of benefits. Firstly,
it connects people in the showing time. Secdonly, it helps you to reduce stress
after hard working day. Thirdly,some game shows are helpful and teach us
some practical skills to survive in the real life. Talk about the neighbor:
1. Do you know the people who live next door to you?
=> I have some neighbors who live next door to me.
2. Do you get along with your neighbors? How?
=> Actually I always get along with my neighbors because they are very kind-
hearted and I always help them when they are in troubles. I always talk to them
on a regular evening walk to share about our work and daily life
3. Are your neighbors helpful?
=> Definitely they are helpful because they always stay at my sides to help me to overcome my difficulties
Talk about the favourite pair of shoes
1. How often do you wear your shoes?
=> Due to my work commitments, I have to wear shoes at work everyday
2. Do you prefer shoes or sandals? why?
=> However I don’t like wearing shoes because it makes me feel
uncomfortable and look so conservative, therefore I prefer wearing sandals
because they make me more stylish and comfy my feet.
3. What makes it your favorite pair of shoes?
=> As I mentioned before, due to the requirement of my work, I have some
nice pairs of shoes because they are very fashionable and durable with good quality and materials Talk about the friends
1. How often do you meet friends?
=> Due to the busy life, it’s really hard to keep-up with our friends. Therefore,
when I have free time, I often get together with friends. 2. What do you do together?
=> When we meet, it’s normally for a cup of coffee or hang out for shopping.
That’s a long, fun filled and interesting time we often spend together
3. Is it easy for you to make friends with others?
=> I am an open/ easy-going person, therefore it’s not really hard for me to get acquainted with other people. - Holiday
1. How often do you have a holiday?
=> I have a holiday every summer and I often take my family to SS beach
which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vn
2. What do Vietnamese people do during summer holiday?
=>Vn people often go to the beach during summer holiday and they often go swimming in the clear water
3. What do you do during summer holiday? => I often go swimming, go
fhishing and enjoy the seafood during summer holiday
=> Holiday is a great way to reduce stress and escape from daily routines to
meet up new friends and see new places. A holiday is a gift from the boss to
appreciate those who work hard for the whole year. When children are out of
school and excited about a long summer holiday, my family and other
Vietnamese people often take the whole family members a trip to the sea to
enjoy delicious and fresh seafood, go swimming, go sunbathing and go for sight seeing. Talk about Advertisement
1. Are there many advertisements in your country?
=>Yes, definitely there are many advertisements in Vietnam. You can see
advertisements everywhere, for example on TV, in the newspapers, on the street and in the bus
2. If yes why do you think there are so many advertisements in your country?
=>The reasons why there are so many advertisements in my country, I guess
because advertisements are very useful. Companies need advertisements to
attract more customers. That would help them sell more products and make
more money. Advertisements also help people know more about the products in the market
3. what are various places when we see the advertisement in your country?
=>As I mentioned earlier, you can see advertisements everywhere nowadays,
on TV, in the newspapers, on the street or even in the bus. Talk about Celebrities
1. Who is your favorite celebrity in your country?
=> Honestly, I have actually never cared about the Vietnam's showbiz.
However, there is one particular celebrity that I'm quite fond of that is Mỹ Tâm
who is a very well-known singer in my country. Her songs are extremely
beautiful and inspiring, and last year she made it to the top 30 of Most Famous Asian Singers
2. How do celebrities influence their fame in your country?
=> I'm not quite sure about this. I suppose they can influence their fans through
social media. By uploading personal photos and videos online, celebrities can
attract millions of followers. Good deeds such as charity work can spread a
positive message to our community.
3. Do you like any foreign celebrities?
=> Of course. I would say most of my idols are from other countries, as I have
no interest in Vietnam's showbiz. My favorite foreign celebrity is Taylor Swift,
a global superstar, who is often known as "The Princess of country music". Talk about Coffee shop
1. Do you often go to coffee shop?
=> I often go to when I have some time to spare. It’s a medium-sized coffee
shop near my house named Highlands Coffee.

1. Do you often celebrate your birthday?
=> I celebrate my birthday every year. On my birthday, I receive many present
from my family and my friends.
2. What did you do on your latest birthday?
=> On my latest birthday, to be more specific, I woke up earlier than usual and
prepared a meal myself. Next, I met up with my friends for a lunch and then
hung out with them to the movies. Quite simple, but very pleasurable to me.
3. What do people often do on their birthday in your country?
=> In my country, there are several things people can do for birthday
celebration. The most common activity is organizing a party with family and friends. Talk about housing

=> I live in a privite house that is located in a alley (hẻm) in district 12 with my family.

=> All my family members live here so for sure I will stay here for a long time
