2. Teaching
Introducing the topic:
- T introduces the name of the topic and
asks ss to repeat.
“Everyone today we are going to learn
about the topic: “FARM ANIMALS”
Teaching vocabulary:
- Attach flashcards on the board
- Ask ss to look at the board, listen
repeat some times.
“Everyone look, listen and repeat!
“What do you see? – I see a…..”
- Ask ss to sing with the song: Five little
ducks
- Ss repeat and follow T.
- Ss look at the T and
repeat after T.
“FARM ANIMALS”
- Ss look at the board,
listen and repeat.
- Say: Look, listen and
repeat.
“I see a….”
Activity and games:
1. Game 1:
- T sticks flashcards on the board.
- T asks ss to repeat words after T same
as a chant so that ss remember words
and word’s location on the board:
“Everyone look and repeat:
Cow-chicken-pig(many times)”
- T takes 1 flashcard and put it down the
table.
- Ask ss to continue reading the chant
cow-chicken-pig although 1 flashcard
didn’t have on the board.
- T continues put second flashcard
down, then third flashcard down but ss
still read the chant: Cow – chicken-pig
follow the right location on the board.
- When all flashcards put down, ss still
read the chant. Then T puts one by one
flashcard back.
- Ask ss to continue reading the chant
and say the right location.
2. Game 2:
- T asks ss to arrange chairs in a circle,
put a chair away each time to play.
- T plays the song while ss walk around
the chair and ask the question: What
animal is it?
- When T stops the song, ss also stop
and each ss try to sit on 1 chair.
- T asks 1 student who doesn’t have
chair to sit will answer the question.
Note: While playing game, T pays
- Look at the T.
- Listen and say:
“Cow-chicken-pig-
duck”
- Ss look and read the
chant along with the T:
“Cow-chicken-pig”
- Ss arange chairs in
acircle.
- Ss run around and say:
