Project 1B: A Journey through the Life of a Famous Person
1. Choose a Famous Person:
Each group selects a famous person they find interesting. The person can be a historical
figure, a celebrity, an inventor, a politician, an athlete, or any individual with a notable life story.
2. Research and Gather Information:
- Students conduct research to gather information about their chosen famous person's
life. They should focus on significant events, achievements, and milestones.
- Students collect pictures or relevant images that depict various stages of the person's life.
3. Create Presentation Slides:
- Students create a series of slides for their presentation.
- Each slide should feature images related to the person’s life and a short description in the past simple tense.
4. Organize the Presentation:
- Students organize the slides in a logical sequence to tell a cohesive story of the famous person's life.
- Students should include an introduction slide that provides a brief overview of the person’s significance.
5. Practice the Presentation:
- Students practice delivering their presentations using the past simple tense to describe the person's life events.
- Students should focus on pronunciation, fluency, and clarity.
6. Peer Review and Feedback:
- The lecturer arranges a peer review session where students present their projects to their peers.
- The lecturer asks students to provide feedback on language usage, presentation style, and overall coherence.
7. Revise and Finalize:
