city tour or a nature tour.

c) Expected outcomes: Ss can express their choice respectfully on going on a city tour or a
nature tour.
d) Organization of the activity:

Debate: CITY TOUR VS NATURE TOUR
- Have ss work in groups of 4-6, and in each group, they
are divided into 2 sides, supporting CITY TOUR or
NATURE TOUR.
- Let Ss brainstorm some ideas for each side.
CITY TOUR:
+ offer a wide range of cultural activities such as
museums, art galleries, and historical landmarks.
+ provide an opportunity to experience the hustle and
bustle of city life and the excitement of the city's unique
atmosphere.
+ allows one to try different cuisines and experience the
local lifestyle.
NATURE TOUR:
+ provide a chance to get away from the noise and
pollution of the city and enjoy the peace and tranquility
of natural surroundings.
+ offer a range of outdoor activities such as hiking,
camping, and birdwatching.
+ allows one to appreciate the beauty of the natural
world.
- Each side presents their points to support their
argument.
- Listen and give feedback as the whole class.
- Work in groups and complete the task.
- Brainstorm some ideas for each side.
- Listen and take turns expressing one’s
points.
