AN INVESTIGATION INTO SURVEY OF USERS' OPINIONS ON THE USE OF QUICK
RESPONSE CODE (QR CODE) AT CAFES IN CAM LE DISTRICT, DA NANG CITY
1. Rationale.
- QR codes are becoming increasingly common in Vietnam's urban areas as part of new
payment systems. How are QR codes recognized and utilized in Vietnam? A question that is
no longer odd or difficult to answer because QR codes are now widely used. QR codes have
been widely produced in a variety of industries to improve human existence while also
serving as an orientation for societal growth based on the following criteria: fast and modern.
- Looking through and evaluating prior research publications, we will largely find articles about
the coverage, influence, and accessibility of QR codes to Vietnamese people. Furthermore, in
most earlier studies, QR codes were mostly used for payment. However, as time passes,
trends and user needs evolve. This product is now being used in applications and connections
to meet a variety of user needs. (Just open the camera and scan the code to gain access to
websites, publications, and even groups that previously required multiple steps to complete).
2. Aims and Objectives.
2.1. Aims.
- Nowadays, there is little research on users' views on the use of QR codes in coffee shops. The
evidence is that there is almost no research and discussion related to using QR codes in
beverage business activities in Vietnam.
- Recognizing the architecture of service users can help improve the quality of coffee shop
operations, which are an important part of the culture of Vietnamese people – especially
people in Da Nang city.
- At the same time, the study also provides guidance on meeting social needs for convenient
payments and the government's policy of mobilizing people and businesses on "non-cash
payments" (this is also an important goal to improve quality of QR code usage for users).
2.2. Objectives.
a) Survey users' opinions on applications of QR codes in cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang
city.
b) Research the difficulties and advantages of users in using QR codes in cafes in Hai Chau
district, Da Nang city.
c) Propose solutions on using QR codes to improve the quality of operations of cafes in Hai
Chau district, Da Nang city.
3. Research questions:
1. What are users' opinions about the applications of QR codes in cafes in Hai Chau
district, Da Nang city?
2. What difficulties and advantages do users face with using QR codes in cafes in Hai
Chau district, Da Nang city?
3. What solutions should be proposed regarding the use of QR codes to improve the
quality of operations of cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city?
4. Subjects and scope of research:
4.1. Research subjects:
User opinions on using QR codes in cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city
4.2. Research scope:
This study is limited to cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city. Eating and drinking are an
important service part in life in a tourist city like Da Nang, and especially coffee is a part of
the culture of Vietnamese people in general and Da Nang people in particular. The research
focuses on Hai Chau district because this is a special area with many entertainment and dining
services because it is the city center and serves a large number of tourists.
4.3. Number of survey participants:
80-100 people use QR codes when using services at cafes in Hai Chau district, City. Danang.
Users are of different ages and diverse career fields. But importantly, they are using mobile
devices with integrated QR code scanning.
5. The Importance of the research (Contribute to various fields of society)
- Education and training field:
The research article has provided specific information, difficulties and benefits that QR codes
bring to business or food services in general and cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city in
particular. Aims to disseminate more knowledge to cafes so they can serve economic issues.
- National security and defense field:
This research helps people have an overview of QR codes in catering and service businesses
in general and cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city in particular. At the same time, it also
solves security issues for quickly meet and serve customer needs.
- Socio-economic field:
When doing business in the field of food and other services outside of cafes, people can still
refer to this topic. They may have adequate knowledge and preparation to create the best
service efficiency which helping increase revenue at cafes and small and medium-sized
businesses related to the service and food sector.
6. Research results: Expected results include:
- Applications and benefits that QR codes bring when using it at cafes in Hai Chau district,
Da Nang city.
- Advantages and difficulties users will encounter when using QR codes at cafes in Hai Chau
district, Da Nang city.
- Proposed solution for using QR codes with the purpose of improving the quality of
operations at cafes in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city.
