UNIT 1: first day at work
Etiquette is important when you're at work, so I have a few tips for you on your
first day at work.
Firstly, being on time is very necessary, so you had better arrive 15 minutes
earlier. You mustn’t get out during office time if your manager doesn’t allow
you.
Secondly is about the dress code. You had better wear formal clothes at work,
and avoid putting on casual clothing such as tank tops, short dresses, and sexy
outfits Thirdly, making small talk is an essential communication skill at work,
but you had better avoid gossiping or eavesdropping. I believe you should
discuss issues about your work rather than other co-workers' personal life.
Lastly, courtesy is the most important thing you should have when you
communicate with others in the company or your clients. There are many ways
to your openness such as: saying thank you or wearing a smile
I believe some of these tips will help you advance in your career
Unit 2. Talk about your email habits.
Nowadays, email has become more and more popular and essential
for everyone. I personally feel that e-mail is the best means of
communication. I also have an email account.
I often use it for about 30 minutes every day. I use email to send
information and discuss issues with friends and teachers. Using email
brings many benefits. Firstly, it doesn’t take much time to write the letter.
Secondly, it can transmit all kinds of electronic data. Thirdly, it is free
I only need an email account and internet connection. Finally, I can send
the same message to a large number of people and attach files or images
easily and it is very reliable.
I prefer email via mobile because it’s very convenient. Besides, it's
inconvenient because if there is no network, it can't send the message. It
also has a lot of spam.

Unit 3: meeting etiquette rules:
Meetings will be useful, productive, and short if the business has a set
of meeting rules. To prepare for the meeting, you should chat and
exchange notes with other attendees; can read the relevant documents for
the meeting. Send your apologies if you cannot attend. Your colleagues
may be waiting for you so they can start the meeting. Make sure you
arrive on time. You do not waste anyone else’s time by not being
punctual. Do not keep your phone on the table during a meeting, it can
get distracting if it starts lighting up or making noises.
This is part of being prepared, but you should have a good, strong
agenda so that you can stay on track. On the other hand, you should not
discuss irrelevant topics or sleep in the meeting. Do not use technical
jargon, talk in everyday language so that everybody can understand.
Unit 4:Talk about your favorite type of advertising.
The Internet is now the most popular medium on the planet for giving
and getting information so being on the Internet can be a cost-effective
way to attract customers. Therefore, this is my favorite advert. Internet
advertising is attached to newspaper pages, movie pages, and game pages
so it is accessible to all ages. So products can reach a wide range of
customers at a low cost.
Advertising products on the Internet will give the company more
opportunities to increase sales and income, and it helps to increase the
flexibility between you and customers. Besides, advertising time is quite
short, making the audience unimpressed. It also depends a lot on
electronics. Products using Internet ads such as food, office equipment,
transport,... shipping services, travel services,...

Unit 5. Talk about the customer service experience in which you made
a complaint.
I had a bad experience when I bought a product in Jamy's store. It
happened just last week when I ordered a T-shirt at their store. After
choosing the size and color I quickly filled in the customer information,
delivery address, and payment method. And I received a delivery notice
within 3 days. 3 days' notice but until the 8th day I received it. Although,
I have contacted the store, but received no response from them.
After receiving the order, I was very disappointed. It was distorted
even torn. After opening the box, I found out that they delivered the
wrong product. It is completely different from the product I choose. I
immediately responded to the store but they had no explanation for me.
What's more, they don't have a refund or exchange policy. I was
despondent with Jamy's customer service. I think they'll have to change a
lot to keep customers coming back.
