A. GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT PRIMARY EDUCATION 1. SHORT ESSAY (7 SENTENCES)
1.What do you have to do to become a good primary school teacher?
To become a good primary school teacher needs to do
a lot of things such as practice soft skills and build knowledge.
Firstly, good primary school teachers need to practice soft
skills such as communication skills, listening skills, problem-
solving skills… Good training in these skills will help teachers
teach and manage students well. Secondly, a good primary
school teacher needs to build knowledge. Teaching primary
school students involves teaching all subjects, so it requires
teachers to have a deep understanding of all issues.
In conclusion, a good primary school teacher needs many factors, and I’m
trying to work flat out everyday to perfect myself in the best way.
2.What qualities does a good primary school teacher have?
To become a good primary school teacher, I think I need to have some of
the following qualities
One of the first qualities a good primary school teacher should have is
patience and kindness. Being a good teacher is not only about teaching but also
about creating a positive learning environment for your students. Where they
can freely share their personal thoughts, make them feel your care.
Second, creativity will help you in keeping the children's attention in the lessons.
Moreover, passion and enthusiasm are also important qualities for good
teachers. Because without it, you can feel bored with this profession.
In conclusion, a good primary school teacher needs many factors, and I’m
trying to work flat out everyday to perfect myself in the best way.can be
close and attached to your students. However, if you are not
enthusiastic about the profession, it will be very stressful.
3.What are the skills of a good primary school teacher?
In my opinion, being a good primary teacher needs certain
skills such as observation skills, listening skills and technology skills.
Firstly, we need to have observation skills. Observing
students will help teachers learn more about them, for
example, how they react to other peers, and what their
personalities are,… so we can find out the way to teach them.
Besides, when they do anything we can suggest some ideas to
them. If they do good, we can speak highly of them and when
they do wrong, we can help them to fix it so next time they will know how to avoid it.
Secondly, teachers need to have listening skills with
students. Our students are still young, they do not know much
about the world so they keep asking many questions and
sometimes their questions make adults uncomfortable. And as
a teacher, we really need to remain calm and answer them
patiently so they can understand clearly.
In addition, technology skills help teachers' lessons become more engaging.
Being a good teacher is really hard but being a good
primary teacher is even harder. We need to have a good
knowledge base and many important skills.
4.What is your aspiration(cống hiến) as a primary school teacher?
My aspiration as a primary school teacher is to ensure that every student
receives the best education. I want to make sure that my students not only enjoy
their school but also feel safe there. And learning will be fun, engaging and
interactive between teachers and students. Moreover, I want to be able to apply
teaching methods and techniques well into my lectures. So that my students can
build a solid foundation of knowledge. I aspire to become a teacher who can
support my students to overcome the difficulties, help them develop and realize
their potential. Finally, I aspire to be a good teacher, a friend who can accompany my students.
Overall, being a teacher is a precious profession and I will strive to be a
good teacher - just like my dream.
5.What inspires you to become a teacher?
I want to/(choose to) become a primary school teacher because I was
inspired by my secondary school literature teacher. Her dedication and
compassion for students makes me want to be just like her. And I chose to teach
primary school because I love children very much, I really love their innocence and cuteness.
Moreover, I want to convey the knowledge to my students and inspire
them to have an interest in learning. My dream is coming true step by step. I am
majoring in Primary Education at HaNoi Metropolitan University. Along with
that, I have been working as a tutor for two years. I have many great memories
of interacting with students and now I know I have chosen the right major.
Overall, being a teacher is a precious profession and I will strive to be a
good teacher - just like my dream.
6. Why do you choose to be a teacher?
Everyone has a dream career of their own, for me that is
to become a teacher. My mother is my passion for me to pursue
this dream. The first reason that made me interested in
teaching is that it is a way to change the education system. If
you recognize the need to improve the quality of education in
your country, then you may become a teacher to make
changes. Another reason for becoming a teacher is to make
your community a better place. Being a teacher is a great
contribution. Teachers do more than teaching and their impact
extends far beyond the classroom. As a teacher, you are more
than just an educator because you are a mentor, a confidant
and a friend. One of the most common reasons to become a
teacher is to make a difference in the lives of as many students
as possible. I have learned a lot through teaching and I will
spread the knowledge and experience that I have gained to
more children so that they have a good future.
7. What is your future plan as a teacher?
As a teacher, I need to give myself a future plan with goals to develop
myself. First, you need to have solid professional knowledge if you want to
become a great instructor. Therefore, I must continue to learn, improve my
profession , and finish the study program on schedule. And I know I need to
constantly improve my soft skills and learn
more from colleagues around me. I am taking a literacy
course to improve my profession and plan to attend
textbook training classes.
Besides, I need to train myself with the necessary qualities of a good
primary school teacher such as love for children, enthusiasm, dedication...
Overall, being a teacher is a precious profession and I will strive to be a
good teacher - just like my dream.
