4) What types of clothes do people in your local area enjoy
wearing?
That depends on people’s age. For the elderly or the
middle- aged demographics in Hanoi, I would say their
clothing is quite casual and very suitable for the weather.
Hanoi’s weather is very erratic so it’s completely under-
standable why people would choose to prioritize func-
tion. On the other hand, the youngster, it’s more about
aesthetic than practicality. These days, the youth have an
urge to express themselves, and appearance would is
such a great way for them to do so. These days, for people
of my age, you can see their clothes have very tend to
bold designs, lots of colors, different silhouettes. Over-
all, it’s just more diverse. So I do think that’s the main
difference.

1) What’s your plan for New Years Eve?
Like most social people who love party and dancing, I think
they might go to a New Year’s Eve countdown party kiss and
someone at midnight to close the year. As a family-oriented
person, I would embrace this once a year experience to gather
with my family in front of the altar to take stock of our lives,
which involves thinking about all the ups and downs in the past
year and enjoy the change of seasons in laughter and happi-
ness.
2) What are you going to do on Tet holiday?
Well, many people would prefer to go to a far-off destination
to relax or after a year of hard work. For me, Tet holi-unwind
day is more special than that. Instead of travelling to some
places of interest cost an arm and a leg, which will during Tet,
I would opt to spend quality time with my beloved ones. That is
to say, I would spend most of my time visiting all my relatives
and friends whom I haven’t gotten a chance to meet up with. I
would also give lucky money to all of my family members as a
gift to wish them lots of good luck in the upcoming year.

1. Do you write by hand?
Not really anymore. These days I find myself typing a lot on
computers and texting on my phone, so I rarely use paper and
a pen anymore. Having said that, I still have to notes jot down

liant kid.

of you. And I think that’s an antiquated way of thinking.

Well you know nowadays self-driving cars are certainly not a
strange topic anymore. A.I. has gotten more sophisticated,
and it’s more than capable of navigating addresses and con-
trolling a vehicle. However, I gotta say I don’t really feel com-
fortable letting robots take the wheel. I think they are not 100
percent reliable, and may not handle dangerous situations like
a slippery road as well as a human driver does. So for now I still
prefer to .drive manually

Most of the time it’s tea. In Vietnam and a few Asian coun-
tries, it is de rigueur for the host to offer tea to the guests.
Usually I just boil some water and pour it over a tea bag or
two. For special guest though, I tend to get all fancy and

coffee shop where they have an actual machine to make them.
4. Do your people in your country give tea or coffee as a gift?
As a matter of fact, they do. It’s an easy, albeit lazy, choice
what to get to someone. So around Lunar New Year, for exam-

and without fail there will be a box of tea or coffee or both in

That depends on people’s age. For the elderly or the

Hanoi’s weather is very erratic so it’s completely under-
