LITERATURE REVIEW
Page 4
According to Dr. Sanjay Kumar surveyed 129 undergraduate students at Rajdhani College about the study habits. The survey indicated that there are 48% respondents spend less than 10 hours a week on self study and Majority of first year students have low percentage marks in their first semester (47%). The research showed most of the students do not ideally follow effective study habits. Furthermore, Students occasionally cooperate on projects even though they are marked as individual, and the change in atmosphere has an impact on students' grades, which is why the majority of first-year students have a poor first-semester percentage. In this study, I will demonstrate students' self-study practices as well as their perspective about self-study.

FINDINGS

Because of the widespread usage of the internet, an online questionnaire was utilized to quickly obtain information from a large number of people and manage data from afar.
The survey has seven basic questions: one skipped question, three closed questions, one free- response question, and two combination questions. The questionnaire was created using a free survey platform (Google Form) and distributed to students over Facebook Messenger at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19th, and got 17 replies by 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 20th.

Figure 4: majority students study for their future profession.

Self-study is considered vital only at work, according to the majority of people. This reflects the fact that students are too reliant on their teachers.
Figure 4: Majority agree with this statement “Self-study only better off for you at work, when it come to schooling, there will alwas be a teacher to guide you".
There were two main perks of self-study that students found helping them in term of learning ENG1102, which are: help them with the academic results and expand their knowledge.
