Write a cause/effect essay of at least 250 words about a situation in which a small amount
of money can make a big difference.
An Ohio farmer named Dan West was a Church of the Brethren relief worker during the
Spanish Civil War. West directed a program where hungry children were given rations of milk. In
1938, West was ladling out milk to hungry refugee children and wrote later that he thought,
"These children don't need a cup [of milk], they need a cow." Heifer International distributes
animals: cows, goats, pigs, ducks, and so on..., along with agricultural and values-based training,
to families in need around the world as a means of providing self-sufficiency. Recipients must
agree to "pass on the gift" by donating animal offspring and sharing the skills and knowledge of
animal husbandry and agricultural training with other impoverished families in the community.
Animals can have a great impact on people's health, education, and income.
An animal helps to maintain a child's health. Beatrice's family received a goat of 12 goats
which from Heifer International. The goat soon gave birth to two more goats. The milk from the
goats helped Beatrice and her siblings to get healthier.
Second, when they receive animals from Heifer International, they get a source of income.
They get meat, milk, or eggs... and they can sell it to get income. Beatrice's family was able to
sell the additional milk. Also, they can sell the offspring.
Finally, and perhaps more important effect involves education. As a result of receiving a goat,
Beatrice's family were soon able to sell the additional milk for enough money to send Beatrice to
school. After that, she can get a scholarship to preparatory school and college.
Through breeding, training and gifting, Heifer has helped 15.5 million families in more than
125 countries improve the quality of Heifer helping to build strong communities for each person
involved in the project. Through the gift of the animal's first offspring, training in the care and
sustainable agriculture for a family with other needs, multiply the benefits. "

Businesses that sponsor sports such as automobile racing, in my opinion, would not be as
successful if they did not provide sponsorship money since they must invest in advertising. Even
if they are large or small. It draws attention to their logo. This can generate revenue if athletes
display their logo everywhere they go. People nowadays choose popular brands and well-known
celebrities. The investment will also help to boost a company's image as a solid and worldwide
enterprise. This will help them enhance their bottom line, thus businesses must invest in order to
succeed.

Yes, i think competing in sports is good for children. Because the health of our children is
more vital than ever, especially with rising levels of obesity and the temptation to stay indoors. It
is critical to provide dedicated time for children to be active, exercise, and enjoy being outside in
order to keep them healthy. Children can experience being active while receiving expert
coaching in a weekly sports session, ensuring that they are participating in the appropriate type
of exercise for their age group.
Sporting activities can educate children to push themselves to new heights while also
instilling values such as sportsmanship and discipline. However, any sport can result in injury.
Parents and coaches can make a significant difference in ensuring that children participate in
sports safely. They can reduce their child's chance of injury by staying involved in their sporting
activities. When children remain injury-free, they and their parents are able to enjoy sports even
more.
