It is technology that is the driving force behind our planet's outstanding development.
Scientists have utilized modernized technology to industry, to medicine and beyond we will
see technology integrated into the home. In this essay, we will summarize the main points of
the article "HOUSES OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY" and also envision my dream
house.
First, the author has included a completely brand new and appealing amount of erudition
about future houses in the passage. Those houses will be designed and operated by
microcomputers. The furniture in the family will be thoroughly controlled by machines, from
cooking, gardening, or anti-theft. We witness houses with huge glass panels. The occupants
will not need to worry much about protecting or cleaning the house, things like closing the
doors, putting out fires and alarms,... are all built-in functions of the homes.
Next, I will draw a sketch of my dream house. Contrary to the houses in the author's article, I
want my house to be completely immersed in nature and submerged in the enchantment of
the green color. Therefore, the main material of the house will be wood and environmentally
friendly materials. When I set foot for the first time, the first thing I want to see are lush
plants, which will also be the main insulation system of the house. According to information
in the medical magazine New England Journal of Medicine, living in harmony with mother
nature will reduce the likelihood of cystic disease and depression.
In addition, I also thought about decorating the rooms. The living room will be decorated
with bright murals depicting nature. On the bedroom side, it will be arranged more simply
with a wooden bed in the front and a desk in the left corner of the room, of course there will
still be no lack of the presence of plants. An indispensable space is the reading room. I will
fill the shelves with books of various genres. Facts have manifested that if you live and work
in an environment that suits your ego, you will produce unexpected results. Hence, I think my
dream house will help me a lot in improving my quality of life.
All things considered, the article has indicated that people will be living in ultra-modern
houses that are fully operated by the advanced technology of the future, and for my part, I
want my house to be filled with the breath of nature. I believe that each of us will have a
