Which social media websites do you use? [Why?]
Well, a lot. I am active in many different platforms like Facebook, YouTube or Instagram. I mainly
use these sites to keep in touch with others and stay updated on what is going on in the world.
How much time do you spend on social media sites? [Why?]
I don’t think I can tell exactly but I have to say, I use them quite a lot. Of course, this depends on
how many tasks I have to finish that day. But I mean whenever I am free from work or study, I
would definitely go online and surf Facebook or YouTube. To see what my friends and others are
doing follow the latest trends in life, so that I can relax.
What kind of information about yourself have you put on social media? [Why?]
On platforms like Facebook and Instagram, I have put mostly photos of me and my friends.
They’re beautiful memories and I want to use social media sites as a place to store and share
those moments with others. On sites like “LinkedIn”, which is more of a professional networking
site), I've mostly put my educational and professional qualifications, skills and expertise.
Is there anything you don't like about social media? [Why?]
Well, to be honest, it is really time-consuming. I know social media is supposed to be fun only,
but the fact is I am wasting my precious time using such sites. And if I cannot manage my time
well, my study and work may be badly affected too.
Part 2 Describe something you liked very much which you bought for your home.
From the moment I started living alone, one of the things I always set out to buy was a washing
machine for my home . Before doing so, for years I had my clothes washed by hand or wash
laundromat it bothered me a lot that spend a lot of money and time to go to get the goods
In order to decide which one to buy, I did some research on the internet to choose the right washing
machine for me. So the brand, capacity, features, and price had to match my needs. After doing a
detailed analysis, I realized that the Samsung washers are the most advanced here, since in addition
to spinning the clothes, it also has the drying function. That last function was very important in my
decision, saving energy and using less water. After that, I located the mall that sold it and went to
buy my washing machine. It has been a years since then and it has made my life much easier. So far
it has never broken down or given me any maintenance problems. It is a very beautiful white
washing machine, its size is ideal for the place where I have it installed, its capacity is exactly what I
need and it is completely automatic, so I just have to put the clothes in and put the detergent, and it
does the rest.And when the waish cycle ends, the clothes are almost dry.
In conclusion, I love my washmachine so much and I recommended it for people if there is a need to buy it quickly.

Why do some people buy lots of things for their home?
I’ve never really thought about this, but it could be because we simply try to make our home as
pleasant as it can be. In fact, home is the place where we spend most of our time in life, where
we can relax and feel safe. So we decorate it in a way that makes us feel comfortable in it. We
pick colors for it, we add patterns to it, we bring in smells, we keep adding to the space we have
until we feel in control over it. And finally simply the act of holding on to memories can a fill a home with items too.
Do you think it is very expensive to make a home look nice?
No, I don’t necessarily think that it is very expensive to make a home look nice, mainly because it
is a matter of taste and preferences of individuals. In fact, a very simple and inexpensive item
can make a home look very nice if it matches the interior design and colour combination of that
home. So as long as you feel happy with it, home decoration does not mean lots of expensive
stuff. There are many alternative options to decorate your home, such as making the objects
with which it will be adorned with your own hands. DIY decorating projects are very popular, I’m
happy making things with my own hands that I can later use at home.
Why don't some people care about how their home looks?
I think that the way of seeing things depends on the circumstances of each person.ome people
don’t care about how their homes should look because they may be too busy with their works
and they don’t have time for it. Meanwhile, decorating requires much time and effort to pick out
the most suitable theme, color or lighting design. So this might be the reason holding many
people back from decorating their homes.Besides, some people are just happy to see their
homes as a place to sleep and relax instead of considering it as some experimentation of decoration.
In what ways is living in a flat/apartment better than living in a house?
The first thing that comes to my mind is security. For me, a home should be a place where you
feel completely secure and safe. While living in a flat, you are less likely to face a situation when
a burglar breaks into your home because there are CCTV cameras on every corner of your
building around the building. Secondly, living in a flat or apartment is much more cost-effective
because of much lower rent. And finally apartments tend to be positioned in areas with more
urban development around, which means you’ll have everything you need close by.
Do you think homes will look different in the future?
Yes,I believe that the houses may have important changes in their structure and look different in
the future, according to the characteristics of the area in which they are built. That would reflect
in the changes in materials, we use, to build our homes. Besides, conventional roofs may also
be replaced by solar roofs in order to reduce the dependency on electricity and gas. Finally, more
and more robots, smart devices and automatic system, it would be great to have all the housework done automatically.
Do you agree that the kinds of homes people prefer change as they get older?
Probably. I think when it comes to older age, house location matters the most and this
preference will vary from people to people. The needs of older people are significantly different
from that of the young people, as far as the issues of their economic situation, physical and
mental abilities and family support are concerned. For example, for most old people, a home
should be easily accessible from all directions in order to facilitate their easy movement. Some
may prefer somewhere which is peaceful and tranquil for them to totally relax on their own.
Others may want to live near their family or friends where care and support are available when they are in need.
