FUTURE PLANS
1. What are you going to do after graduation from university?

After I graduate University, I will travel abroad to continue studying and working
there to grain more experience and knowledge.

I will find a job as a mechanical engineer, or a designer or maybe a manager. I
hope to work in the field of mechanics so that I can apply and develop what I have
learn from university.
2. Where are you going to live?

I am not sure about that. Maybe I choose Japan, Germany, Russia, so on to live
and work in a few years as you know they are famous for being the leading in
machinery and technology and IT.

I want to live in Hanoi as I was born here. Besides, I think I can easily find a job
that relates to my major in Hanoi.

I think I will come back to my hometown as I like living near my family.
Furthermore, I still can find a job in Thai Nguyen as we have lots of industrial
zones with many famous companies such as Sam Sung, Canon and so on.
3. Which company are you going to work for?

If possible, I would like to work for Sam Sung/Canon/Nissan as these companies
bring me lots of company benefits such as company car, annual bonus, private
health care, and so on

I intend to establish my own company to start-up may career. I think the company
will specialize in engine or spaceship...
4. What do you do to make your plans come true?
I am studying hard to get the best result, attend some soft skill training such as
presentation skills, communication skills, English speaking skills.
STUDY
1. What’s your major?/ How many days a week do you go to school?
As you know my major is mechanical engineering/mechatronic engineering, which
lasts four years. I go to school 6 days a weeks from Monday to Saturday.
2. What jobs are related to your major?

As I said earlier, my major is engineering/mechatronic engineering so I would
like to find a job that relates to what I am studying at university. I think I can be a
mechanics, machine designer, technician in maintenance, quality control.
3. Do you like learning English?

No, I do not like English very much you know I am not good at English skills,
especially, listening, speaking skills.

Although I do not have a passionate for English I still like learning it. The reason
is that English is useful for my future job.
4. What time does your English class start?
Like many others classes, English class starts at 7 a.m and finishes at 11:30
5. Which skill is the most difficult for you?
Among 4 skills, I find listening and speaking skills the most difficult. Especially,
for English for Mechanical Engineering, I not only talk but also listen to things
relating to real things happening at workplace. I think it is quite new to me as a
student.
6. Is it useful for your future job?
However, English is still useful for my future job.

As you know my major is mechanical engineering/mechatronic engineering, which

2. Why do you choose that major?
Actually, I choose this major as you know, if I am studying this major, I can learn
many others fields such as mechanics, electronics, electrics and IT. As a result, I
can work in different areas when I graduate. This brings me great opportunities to
find jobs in the future.

Of course, I expect to find jobs relate to my major such as I said earlier, my major
is engineering/mechatronic engineering so I would like to find a job that relates to

You know I cannot easily find a part-time job as there are not many workshops
near our university. I choose to focus on my studying so I have not had a part-time
job until now.

I surf the Internet/get online everyday as it is a greatest way to update information
and keep contact with friends and family members.

You know there are a great number of websites nowadays, as for me as student, I
choose youtube. With youtube, I cannot only relax myself by listening or watching
films/music but also learn many things such as English, technical skills or other
soft skills.
4. What do you use a laptop/computer for?
As a mechanical engineer, I use laptop for designing, calculating, simulating the
systems/devices.
5. What are advantages and disadvantages of using the Internet?
Using the Internet brings a great number of advantages, namely, entertaining,
learning, updating information.
However, users can face a number of drawbacks. First, I can be a waste of time if
you use it too much. Then, using the Internet too much can affect your health,
especially, your eyes, your hands.
