Hello everyone, I'm a college student, study in QNU, majoring in English. In
recent years, tourism has been a very "hot" industry and has attracted a lot of
attention from young people. Today I will talk about the advantages and
disadvantages of working in the tourism industry, my talk will last from 1 to 2
minutes, ok let's begin:
As we know working in the tourism industry brings
many benefits:
First, working in the tourism industry gives you the opportunity to learn,
experience, and discover many new things. This characteristic has attracted a large
number of young people to choose to study and work in this field.
Second, the income of those working in the tourism industry is relatively
attractive and stable. In addition to fixed income, tips, commission discounts, per
diems and other related expenses are also quite significant income to help people
working in this industry have a higher income.
Another advantage of working in the tourism industry is that it helps us
expand social relationships, and make many new friends, people from many lands,
with different nationalities and ethnicities, religions, and interests. Through that,
each person can come closer together and learn from each other.
In addition to the advantages mentioned above, working in the tourism
industry has many other benefits that make this industry hotter than ever.
However, besides the advantages, this industry also has many difficulties
that those who pursue it cannot ignore.
First, pressure from customers. When working in the tourism industry, you
must be willing to accept and listen to all contributions from your own customers,
or from the company you work for, whether right or wrong, praise or criticism.
Second, this industry requires proficiency in many skills, especially foreign
languages. This is one of the difficulties that the vast majority of people working in
the tourism industry will encounter. Especially for those who want to advance in
this industry.
Third, innovation and adaptation are challenges faced by those working in
the tourism industry.
In short, I think there are advantages and disadvantages to any industry, not
excluding the tourism industry. I believe the advantages outweigh the
