The 21st century younger generation who do not know foreign languages are
considered obsolete and hard to be successful.

English has been taught at high schools for years, but most students who have
ever studied seven year English programme have got many difficulties of all the
four skills. All of their four skills listening, speaking, reading, writing have been
limited, especially speaking skills

There are many causes that prevent students from speaking, but one of the basic
causes hindering the ability of the students’ speaking skill is: students do not have a
positive language environment.

With the idea of creating a natural language environment for students willing to
participate in spoken English as well as learn about the country, the British and
English speaking countries, simultaneously to create good playground for students on
studying after hours of stress; help them more confidence to step into the life, English
teacher groups want to hold an English speaking club called "We love English”.

The maximum score for each activity is 10 points. At the end of the competition,
the judgess will announce the total score of each team. The team that get the highest
score will be the winner. The winner will be awarded a set of CDs for studying English.

Now, let’s start our competition. I. Who is who? RULES:
The maximum time is 10 minutes for each team to introduce.( your introduction
should be clear, interesting and fluent) -The maximum mark is 10. II.
Describing and guessing the pictures: RULES:
• There are 5 pictures for each team
• 1 representative looks at the pictures and describes, the rest of the team say the names • 1 minute for each team
• 2 marks for one correct answer III. Question bags lOMoARcPSD|50582371 RULES: • We have 4 question bags
• Each team choose one of 4 to answer
• The team who are in turn have right to answer first
• If the answer is wrong, other teams have right to do
• 2 marks for 1 correct answer
After 2 activities have finished, Tra My – student of class 11A3 will sing a song IV. Game for audience RULES:
• We need 12 players for the game
• There are 3 rounds, one topic for each round
• If the players answer correctly - stay on, if wrong answer given - out of the game
• Each round we choose 3 players to play in the final round
• The winner will be the one who can stay with the game after 3 rounds V. Eloquence RULES:
• There are 5 minutes for each team to perform the eloquence
• Each team should explain the reason why you decide to take part in English Club and I.T Club • The maximum mark is 10
