For me, a wristwatch is an indispensable item in my daily life. It's just a simple black rubber
strap watch that I've been using for nearly three years now. It doesn't belong to any famous
brand, but I always cherish it because it was a congratulatory gift from my mother when I got my first job after graduating
The watch helps me manage my time more effectively, ensuring that I am always punctual for
appointments and work. It is also a convenient fashion accessory that helps me look more polite
and professional. Especially, since this was a gift from my mother, Whenever I glance at my
watch, I feel like she is always with me in my life away from home.
Owning a good watch is also a symbol of self-discipline. It reflects my personality and lifestyle. I
like my life to always go smoothly according to plan. Therefore, I can't imagine life without this
watch because it has become an indispensable part of my daily journey lOMoAR cPSD| 59943509

Task 3: Topic Discussion
The technology is constantly evolving, and there’s a question that makes every parent always
ought to think about is “Should children be allowed to use mobile phones?”.
We can see clearly, that mobile phones can help children stay in touch with their parents or
guardians, especially in emergencies or when they need to coordinate plans. Phones also can
provide access to educational apps and resources that can support learning and be useful for a child's development.
Despite there is many benefits of allowing children to use cell phones, in my opinion, children
should not be exposed to cell phones too early, especially children under 13 years old. Why do I think that?
1, Using mobile phones for too long can cause significant distraction, affecting children's
academic performance and ability to concentrate.
2, Prolonged use of mobile phones can lead to potential health problems, such as eye strain, poor
posture, and sleep disturbances. There are also concerns about the risk of electric shock and fire,
as children do not have the knowledge to control the incident.
3, For children who spend all their time on their phones, their social skills, emotional health, and
ability to face-to-face interact with the real world are impaired
FN, Children do not have the awareness to make safe choices when using their phones, so they
are vulnerable to emotional harm, cyberbullying or even having their personal and family
information and privacy unintentionally shared without proper guidance.
Deciding when your child is ready to use a mobile phone is important, and decision-making
needs to be accompanied by controls and safeguards for children Xxxxxxxxxxx V C C C C C lOMoAR cPSD| 59943509 C C Cc
