PART 1: Personal information
Each student will be asked 4 questions about different topics. I. Work:
1. Have you ever worked part time?
→ Yes, I have worked part-time. It was a good experience to learn responsibility and
improve my communication skills. Working part-time helped me understand the
importance of managing my time and balancing work with study.
2. What kind of job do you want to do in the future?
➔ In the future, I want to work in data science. I’m interested in analyzing data,
finding insights, and using them to solve real-world problems. I believe this field
has many opportunities for growth and impact.
3. What have you been doing to prepare for your future job?
➔ To prepare, I’ve been studying data science concepts, including machine learning
and statistics. I’m also learning programming languages like Python and R, which
are important in data science. Practicing with projects helps me gain hands-on experience.
4. What do you do to get ready for a job interview?
➔ I prepare by researching the company and the job role so I can understand what
they need. I also practice common interview questions and review my skills and
experiences. Sometimes, I do mock interviews to build confidence. II. Technology:
1. What invention do you think is useful for your study?
➔ I find ChatGPT very useful for my studies. It helps me quickly find information,
get answers to questions, and understand difficult topics. It’s like having a helpful guide whenever I need it.
2. What do you usually do on the Internet?
➔ I usually watch YouTube on the Internet. I enjoy watching educational videos,
tutorials, and sometimes entertainment content. YouTube is a good platform for
learning new skills and discovering interesting information.
3. Do you prefer using a mobile phone or a laptop to study online?
➔ I prefer using a laptop to study online. It has a bigger screen, a keyboard, and better
tools for research and assignments. I can focus better and do my tasks more comfortably on a laptop.
4. Do you know any famous inventor?
➔ Yes, I know about Nikola Tesla. He was an inventor and engineer known for his
work with electricity. His inventions, like the AC motor, changed the way we use
and understand electric power today. III. Holidays:
1. What activities do you like to do when you are on holiday?
➔ When I’m on holiday, I enjoy going back to my hometown to visit my family. I also
like playing games, watching movies, and playing volleyball. It’s a great way to relax and have fun.
2. What kind of accommodation do you like to stay in when you are on holiday?
➔ I prefer staying in comfortable, clean hotels with good facilities. It’s nice to have a
relaxing place to rest after a day of exploring. I also appreciate places with friendly staff and a good location.
3. Have you ever had any problems on holiday?
➔ Yes, I’ve had a problem with losing items while traveling. It was stressful, but I
learned to be more careful with my belongings. Now, I try to keep important things
close and double-check before leaving a place.
4. Do you prefer travelling in a group or on your own?
➔ I prefer traveling in a group. It’s fun to share experiences with friends, and it feels
safer. Being in a group also means there’s always someone to help if there’s a problem. IV. Products:
1. What is the last thing you bought online?
➔ The last thing I bought online was some clothes, like shirts, pants, and T-shirts. I
also bought a few other items, like an iron and some shampoo. Shopping online
makes it easy to find what I need.
2. How important do you think logos are?
➔ I think logos are very important because they help people recognize a brand
quickly. A good logo creates a strong first impression and makes the brand
memorable. It also shows a brand’s identity and values.
3. Which websites do you visit when you want to buy things such as clothes, shoes, and books?
➔ When I want to buy things, I usually visit websites like Temu, Shopee, and Teelab.
These sites offer a wide variety of products and often have good deals, which makes shopping easier.
4. What do you think makes one website better than another?
➔ I think a website is better when it’s easy to use, has a good layout, and offers
reliable customer service. Fast delivery, good product variety, and clear
descriptions also make a website stand out. V. History:
1. Do you often play video games with your friends?
➔ Yes, I often play video games with my friends. It’s a fun way to relax and connect
with each other, especially after a long day. Playing together also makes the games
more exciting and competitive, as we can share strategies and improve our skills.
It’s a great way to bond and enjoy some downtime.
2. What sorts of game are popular in your country?
➔ In my country, games like League of Legends, Arena of Valor, Free Fire, and
PUBG are very popular. Many people enjoy these games for their strategy,
teamwork, and action, which make them engaging and challenging. These games
also have a strong community where players can interact and compete with others.
They’re a major part of the gaming culture here.
3. Do you think that video games are bad for you?
➔ Yes, I think video games can be bad if played too much. They can take up a lot of
time and affect focus on studies or other important tasks, which can lead to poor
time management. Playing too long can also cause physical strain, like eye fatigue.
However, when balanced with other activities, video games can still be enjoyable and beneficial.
4. What historical place in Vietnam have you ever visited?
➔ I have visited the Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập) in Vietnam. It’s a place
with rich history, and visiting it helped me learn more about my country’s past. The
building and its rooms show a lot about the Vietnam War period. It was an
interesting and meaningful experience for me. VI. Nature:
1. If you could live in another country, where would you move to?
➔ If I could live in another country, I would move to Russia. I find its culture, history,
and architecture very interesting. The snowy winters and beautiful landscapes are
also something I would love to experience. It seems like an exciting place to explore and live in.
2. If you won a lot of money, would you stop working / studying?
➔ No, I wouldn’t stop working or studying if I won a lot of money. Education and
work are important for personal growth and staying active. I would use the money
to improve my life and help others, but I’d still continue learning and working toward my goals.
3. What is your favorite animal?
➔ My favorite animal is a dog. They are friendly, loyal, and great companions. I love
how they can cheer you up and are always full of energy. Dogs are also very
intelligent, and they can be trained to help people in many ways, like guiding or
protecting. They are truly a joy to be around.
4. Have you ever visited a zoo?
➔ Yes, I have visited a zoo. It was a fun experience to see many different animals up
close. I enjoyed learning about their habitats and behaviors. It’s a great way to
spend time and understand more about wildlife.
PART 2: Social Interaction
A pair of students will be asked to talk about a situation together for about 3 minutes.
There are 3 types of task for this part of the test. The examiner will choose one of them for
each pair of students, describe the situation, provide a card with some necessary
