1. In today’s world, physical education programs have been a common
component of school curriculums for many years. These programs are designed
to promote physical fitness, improve health outcomes, and develop critical
thinkings among students. Nowadays, students are obese because they have
consumed too much fast food and focus on playing games. Some people suggest
that the duration of physical education should be increased in schools to address
this problem. However, others disagree and argue that physical education is not
effective or necessary for students. In my opinion, I partly agree with this idea.
Discussed belows are several reasons in favor of my perspective.
First and foremost, people should recognize that ever-increasing the time of
studying physical education has a numerous benefits. A very important point to
consider is that it can improve students’ physical health. It means that gym class
can help students develop their fitness, flexibility, strength, balance, posture (tư
thế), and joint (khớp) health. These physical skills can prevent or reduce
obesity, hypertension(tăng huyết áp), diabetes, and other chronic (mãn tính)
diseases. In addition, it can enhance students’ mental health. Physical education
can help students relax, relieve stress, enhance mood, and increase self-
confidence. These mental benefits can improve students’ well-being, happiness,
and self-esteem. Furthermore, gym classes can help learners develop important
life skills, such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. Physical activities
require students to work together towards a common goal, which can help
develop social skills that can be applied outside the classroom.
On the other hand, there are several arguments against the statement that
increasing the period of gym class is unnecessary. In fact, people have this
opinion because it can take away time and resources from other subjects or
activities that may be more crucial or relevant for students’ education and
future. Gymnastic education can require more teachers, equipment, facilities,
and funding that may not be available or affordable for some schools. Physical
education can also reduce the time allocated (phân bổ) for academic subjects,
such as math, science, or language arts (ngữ văn), that may have more impact
on students’ learning performances and career opportunities.
In summary, the above mentioned facts have created a dilemma when people
evaluate the impact of this issue, and it is still a controversial problem. As fas as
I am concerned, it could have both positive and negative impacts. People should
have further consideration on this issue.
2. Nowadays stress has become a serious problem than it was in the past. Over
the world, many different diseases are caused by stress. In today’s world, some
people ask themselves why stress is such a big issue as well as how to reduce it.
1
This essay will discuss the causes to stress related and solutions to deal with this
problem.
In the highly competitive environment stress is an illness that experienced
approximately everyone because of modern tension and pressure whereas
before individuals had fewer issues to think about. For example, our generation
works longer hours and bear a heavy workload in comparison with the past
generations. The business competition will be more serious in the future and as
a result, more and more people will suffer from stress-related issues. The
increasing competition and challenges in every field of life, lack of family and
social bonding, increasing expenses, political instability, international tension,
environmental pollution, longer working hours, high expectation and
dependency of technology everywhere are some of the main reasons the stress
related problems are so high these days.
There are various measures which could be taken to release stress. The first
solution to mention is that people should get regular physical activity. For
instance, participatin gin outdoor activities such as playing sports, swimming
and jogging enables them to refresh their mind after stressful hours at school or
workplace. Another alternative is that people have a balanced diet. To be more
specific, a diet including a good intake of fruits and protein allows them to stay
healthy in order to mange stress. The final method to escape from pressure is
that people keep work-life balance. Having a full sleep is a great way to not
only boost their energy but also relieve tension.
In summary, the above mentioned facts have outlined the reasons as well as the
the measures of this issue. There are numerous effective stress management
strategies. It is important that people lead a healthy lifestyle to overcome stress
of a busy life in modern society.
3. Air pollution is the presence of harmful substances in the air that can damage
the environment and human health. Air pollution is one of the biggest
environmental problems of our time, affecting millions of people around the
world. In this essay, I will discuss some of the causes and effects of air
pollution.
There are several reasons why the polluted atmosphere are happened. A very
significant point to consider is that the burning of fossil fuels make the polluted
air. Fossil fuels are sources of energy such as coal, oil, and gas that are derived
from ancient plants and animals. When fossil fuels are burned, they release
gases and chemicals into the air, such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides. These
pollutants can contribute to global warming, acid rain, smog, and respiratory
2
diseases. Another point I would like to make is that the idustrial activities are
contributed to the pollution of air. Industrial activity refers to the production and
processing of goods and services, such as manufacturing, mining, construction,
and agriculture. Industrial activity can emit various pollutants into the air, such
as compounds, heavy metals, asbestos, and pesticides.
There are many severe consequences of this issue. One primary would be that
the impact on human health. Air pollution can affect the respiratory system, the
cardiovascular system, the nervous system, and the immune system. Air
pollution can cause or worsen diseases such as asthma, heart attack, stroke,
dementia, and diabetes. Air pollution can also reduce life expectancy and
quality of life. In addition, the contaminated air can damage the natural
ecosystems, such as forests, lakes, rivers, oceans, and wildlife. It can also alter
the climate system, such as increasing the greenhouse effect, changing the
precipitation patterns, melting the ice caps, and raising the sea level. Air
pollution can also reduce the visibility and aesthetic value of the landscape.
In conclusion, the above mentioned facts have outlined the reasons as well as
the impacts of this issue. Its yields and backwashes should be taken into
account. People should have further consideration on this issue.
4. Some people believe that children should only focus on essential subjects
such as math and foreign languages, and not spend time on arts. However,
others disagree and argue that arts are also essential for children’s development
and well-being. In my opinion, I partly agree with this idea. Discussed below
are several reasons in favor of my perspective.
First and foremost, some people think that children should only focus on
necessary subjects and not spend time on arts is that they believe that arts are
not useful or relevant for children’s future. They may think that arts are not as
important as math or foreign languages for academic achievement or career
opportunities. They may also think that arts are not as rigorous or challenging as
other subjects for children’s learning outcomes. Another point I would like to
make is that they believe that arts are not beneficial or necessary for children’s
health and happiness. They may think that arts are not as effective or enjoyable
as other subjects for children’s physical and mental well-being. They may also
think that arts are not as accessible or affordable as other subjects for children’s
participation.
On the other hand, there are several arguments against the statement that arts are
crucial for children’s development. In fact, people have this opinion because
arts arts can help children develop skills and competencies that are in high
3
demand in the 21st century, such as creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and
communication. Arts can also help children explore their talents and passions
and pursue their goals and dreams. In addition, arts can help children improve
their physical and mental health by reducing stress, enhancing mood, boosting
confidence, and preventing diseases. It can also help children enjoy their school
life by providing them with fun and meaningful experiences that express their
emotions and identity
In summary, the above mentioned facts have created a dilemma when people
evaluate the impact of this issue, and it is still a controversial problem. As fas as
I am concerned, it could have both positive and negative impacts. People should
have further consideration on this issue.
5. Many of them decided to start their own businesses instead of working for
someone else. This trend of entrepreneurship is especially prevalent among
young people and people with high levels of education. This essay will shed
light on the causes of this trend and its possible effects.
There are several reasons why people want have their own business. The first
reason is the desire for independence and autonomy. Being an entrepreneur
allows people to be their own bosses, pursue their passions, and set their own
schedules. Being an entrepreneur also enables people to express their creativity
and innovation, and to solve problems that they care about. Secondly, the
potential for financial success and wealth creation. Being an entrepreneur offers
the opportunity to earn a higher income, build equity (vốn chủ sỡ hữu), and
achieve financial freedom. Moreover, entrepreneurs can also create value and
wealth for themselves and others by developing products or services that meet
the needs or wants of customers. For example, Jeff Bezos, the founder of
Amazon, became the richest person in the world by creating an online
marketplace that revolutionized e-commerce.
There are many consequences of owning a company. About positive effects, this
trend impacts society positively by creating more diversity, competition, and
innovation in the market, which can benefit consumers and other stakeholders
(cổ đông). Besides, it also stimulate economic growth, creating jobs, and
contributing to social welfare. Concerning negative effects, being an
entrepreneur involves risk, uncertainty, long hours, and stress. Entrepreneurs
have to invest a lot of time, money, and effort into their ventures(dự án kinh
doanh), without any guarantee of success or return. Moreover, they also have to
deal with various obstacles and difficulties, such as competition, regulation,
taxation, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, entrepreneurs have to balance
their work and personal lives, which can be challenging and exhausting.
4
In conclusion, there are three causes of having an enterprise. Even a coin has
two sides, this trend has both positive and negative effects. Whether it is good
or bad to us depends on the real situation and our needs. People should have
further consideration on this tendency.
6. In today’s world, people tend to live in a nuclear family in stead of extended
family in modern life. My essay will shed light on both positive and negative
influences of living in a small family.
On the one hand, elementary family is advantageous to people in many ways.
First and foremost, each member receives more attention, care, and resources
from the parents. Living in a small family allows parents to focus more on their
children’s needs, education, and development. Additionally, children in this
family tend to be more independent as they have to take care of themselves and
their siblings when their parents are occupied with work. Furthermore, living in
a small group also enables parents to provide more financial and material
support to their children, such as better food, clothing, health care, and
education. This advantage benefits the children and the parents by enhancing
their self-esteem, relationship, and quality of life. Another point I would like to
make is that it gives more freedom and flexibility to the parents and the
children. Living in a small family enables parents to make their own decisions
without interference(sự can thiệp) from other relatives, and to pursue their
careers or hobbies more easily. (allows children to have more independence and
autonomy (quyền tự trị) in their choices and actions. For example, they can
choose their own friends, hobbies, and future plans without pressure or
obligation from their elders). Last but not least, as the number of people are
smaller in a nuclear family, there is a possibility of reduced conflicts and
misunderstanding.
On the other hand, in addition to the crucial advantages of this problem, it has
some disadvantages of living in a nuclear group. In fact, people have this
opinion because living in a small family can lead to isolation, loneliness, and
selfishness for the parents and the children. Living in a small family means
having less social interaction and support from other relatives who can offer
advice, help, or comfort in times of need. The absence of adult family members
can mean that television and the Internet might become the primary influences
on children’s behaviour. Without the help of other family members, working
parents must rely on babysitters or afterschool clubs to take care of young
children => Raise the cost of childcare. The elderly living alone might suffer
from loneliness and difficulties in doing daily tasks since they are physically
weak. (Người cao tuổi sống một mình thể chịu cảnh đơn, khó khăn trong
5
công việc hàng ngày do thể chất yếu.)The increasing demand for living space
might result in land scarcity. (Nhu cầu về không gian sống ngày càng tăng
thể dẫn đến tình trạng khan hiếm đất.)
(Đại gia đình (Extended family)
Benefits of an extended family (Lợi ích của đại gia đình)
1. Children can have the opportunity to learn different values and gain a
greater understanding of tradition and culture when they live with multiple
generations of their family. (Trẻ em thể hội học hỏi các giá trị khác
nhau hiểu biết nhiều hơn về truyền thống văn hóa khi chúng sống với
nhiều thế hệ trong gia đình.)
2. Children can also learn about caring for their elders, while grandparents
might remain productive and active while they keep up with the children’s
activities and school work. (Trẻ em cũng thể học cách chăm sóc người lớn
tuổi, trong khi ông thể vẫn làm việc hiệu quả năng động trong khi họ
theo kịp các hoạt động và công việc ở trường của trẻ em.)
3. Family members can share responsibilities in terms of childcare,
houseworks and finance. (Các thành viên trong gia đình thể chia s trách
nhiệm về chăm sóc con cái, công việc nhà và tài chính.)
Disadvantages of extended family
1. Having more people in the home can make it difficult for everyone to
have their own space, resulting in less privacy. (Có nhiều người trong nhà thể
khiến mọi người khó có không gian riêng, dẫn đến ít sự riêng tư hơn.)
2. Disagreements tend to happen more frequently between family members
due to generation gaps. (Bất đồng xu hướng xảy ra thường xuyên hơn giữa
các thành viên trong gia đình do khoảng cách thế hệ.)
7. Study is an essential activity for personal and professional development.
However, there are different opinions on how and when to study effectively.
Some people believe that study is a continuous process that requires constant
learning and updating of knowledge and skills. Others think that study is in a
particular time and in a period of time, such as during school or college years,
or before an exam or a project. In this essay, I will argue that study is a
continuous process that has many benefits for individuals and society.
One reason why study is a continuous process is that it helps people to adapt to
the changing world and stay competitive in the global marketplace. According
to Valamis, a learning solutions company, "Staying competitive in today’s
6
global marketplace means that organizations need to be innovative, adaptive,
and ever-changing. Achieving this depends on the skill and knowledge of the
workforce."2 Therefore, continuous learning is important for organizations and
employees to keep up with the latest trends, technologies, and opportunities in
their fields. Continuous learning also enables people to discover new interests,
passions, and potentials that can enrich their lives and careers.
Another reason why study is a continuous process is that it enhances cognitive
health and well-being. Research has shown that learning new skills and
knowledge can improve memory, creativity, problem-solving, and mental
flexibility. For example, a longitudinal study by Yurkofsky et al. (2020) found
that "engaging in iteration, which involves a cyclical process of action,
assessment, reflection, and adjustment" can help learners to cope with
complexity and ambiguity in educational settings.1 Moreover, continuous
learning can also increase self-confidence, self-esteem, and happiness by
providing a sense of achievement, purpose, and fulfillment.
In conclusion, I have argued that study is a continuous process that has many
benefits for individuals and society. Continuous learning can help people to
adapt to the changing world, stay competitive in the global marketplace,
discover new interests and potentials, and enhance cognitive health and well-
being. Therefore, I suggest that people should embrace continuous learning as a
lifelong habit and seek opportunities to learn new things every day. I also
recommend that educators and policymakers should support continuous learning
by providing flexible, accessible, and relevant learning resources and
environments for learners of all ages.
8. Drawing is a form of art that involves creating images with various tools and
techniques, such as pencils, pens, brushes, or digital devices. Drawing can have
many purposes, such as expressing ideas, communicating information,
designing products, or making art. However, there is an opinion that drawing
should become the main subject at school, meaning that drawing should be
given more priority, time, and resources than other subjects in the curriculum. In
this essay, I will disagree with this opinion and explain why drawing should not
be the main subject at school.
One reason why drawing should not be the main subject at school is that it may
not suit all students’ interests, abilities, and learning styles. While some students
may enjoy and excel at drawing, others may prefer and benefit from other forms
of expression, such as writing, speaking, or performing. Forcing students to
focus on drawing may reduce their motivation, engagement, and achievement in
school. According to Simmons (2019), "drawing is not just a skill or just a part
7
of the visual arts, but it is one fundamental pillar of education and learning as
important as literacy and numeracy"1. Therefore, drawing should not be the
main subject at school, but rather one of the many subjects that students can
choose from according to their preferences and needs.
Another reason why drawing should not be the main subject at school is that it
may not prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
Drawing is a traditional and manual skill that may not be relevant or sufficient
for the 21st century, where technology and innovation are dominant forces.
Students need to learn other skills and competencies that are more in demand
and applicable in the digital world, such as coding, programming, data analysis,
or digital design. According to Terada (2019), "drawing is advancing into the
digital age"2, but it is not enough to keep up with the rapid changes and
developments in science and technology. Therefore, drawing should not be the
main subject at school, but rather one of the many subjects that students can
complement with other digital skills and tools.
In conclusion, I have disagreed with the opinion that drawing should become
the main subject at school. I have explained that drawing may not suit all
students’ interests, abilities, and learning styles; and that drawing may not
prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age.
Therefore, I suggest that schools should offer a balanced and diverse curriculum
that includes drawing as well as other subjects that cater phục vụ to different
student needs and goals. I also recommend that teachers should use drawing as a
pedagogical phạm tool to enhance learning across disciplines, rather than as
an isolated subject.
9. Phones are ubiquitous devices that have many functions and uses, such as
communication, entertainment, education, and safety. However, there is an
opinion that phones should be banned in elementary schools, meaning that
students should not be allowed to bring or use their phones during school hours.
In this essay, I will agree with this opinion and explain why phones should be
banned in elementary schools.
One reason why phones should be banned in elementary schools is that they can
distract students from learning and disrupt the classroom environment. Phones
can tempt students to check messages, play games, watch videos, or browse
social media instead of paying attention to the teacher or the lesson. Phones can
also cause noise, interruptions, or conflicts when they ring, vibrate, or are used
by students without permission. suggesting that banning phones can improve
students’ academic outcomes.
8
Another reason why phones should be banned in elementary schools is that they
can expose students to inappropriate or harmful content and behaviors, such as
cyberbullying, sexting, or online predators. Phones can give students access to
the internet, which can contain violent, sexual, or offensive material that is not
suitable for their age or development. Phones can also enable students to send or
receive messages, photos, or videos that are mean, threatening, or explicit,
which can affect their mental health and well-being which can have negative
consequences for their self-esteem, confidence, and happiness.
In conclusion, I have agreed with the opinion that phones should be banned in
elementary schools. I have explained that phones can distract students from
learning and disrupt the classroom environment; and that phones can expose
students to inappropriate or harmful content and behaviors. Therefore, I suggest
that elementary schools should enforce a strict policy of banning phones from
the premises or requiring them to be turned off and stored away during school
hours. I also recommend that parents and teachers should educate students about
the responsible and safe use of phones and the internet outside of school.
10. Printed media, such as books, newspapers, and magazines, are traditional
forms of communication and information that have been around for centuries.
However, with the recent development in technology, such as e-books, online
news, and digital magazines, some people feel that printed media will soon be a
thing of the past. Others feel that those forms of media will never disappear and
will always have a place in society. In this essay, I will discuss the future of
printed media and argue that they will not become obsolete, but rather adapt and
coexist with digital media.
One reason why printed media will not become obsolete lỗi thời is that they
have some advantages over digital media that appeal to many consumers and
users. For instance, printed books offer a tactile and sensory experience that e-
books cannot replicate, such as the smell of paper, the feel of turning pages, and
the satisfaction of holding a physical object. Printed books also do not require
batteries, chargers, or internet connections, which make them more convenient
and reliable in some situations.
Another reason why printed media will not become obsolete is that they have
some cultural and social values that digital media cannot replace. For example,
printed newspapers and magazines can serve as historical records and sources of
collective memory that can be preserved and archived for future generations.
Printed newspapers and magazines can also create a sense of community and
identity among their readers, who share common interests, opinions, and values.
9
In conclusion, I have discussed the future of printed media and argued that they
will not become obsolete, but rather adapt and coexist with digital media. I have
explained that printed media have some advantages over digital media that
appeal to many consumers and users; and that printed media have some cultural
and social values that digital media cannot replace. Therefore, I suggest that
printed media should not be dismissed or neglected, but rather recognized and
appreciated for their contributions to society. I also recommend that printed
media should embrace innovation and collaboration with digital media to create
more diverse and engaging forms of communication and information.
11. Community service is a voluntary activity that involves helping the local
community, such as working for charity, improving the neighborhood, or
teaching sports to younger children. In many countries, young people are
encouraged to take part in unpaid community service in their free time to help
the local community. It is widely believed that this would benefit both
individual teenagers and society as well. In this essay, I will agree with this
opinion and explain why community service is beneficial for young people and
society.
One reason why community service is beneficial for young people is that it can
help them develop various skills and qualities that are useful for their personal
and professional growth. For instance, community service can teach young
people how to communicate, cooperate, and lead effectively with different
people and groups. Community service can also foster young people’s
creativity, initiative sáng kiến, and problem-solving abilities by exposing them
to various challenges and needs in the community. Moreover, community
service can also enhance young people’s self-esteem, confidence, and
responsibility by giving them a sense of purpose, achievement, and
contribution.
Another reason why community service is beneficial for society is that it can
address various social and environmental issues that affect the quality of life of
the community. For example, community service can help reduce poverty,
hunger, homelessness, illiteracy, violence, or pollution by providing direct
assistance, awareness, or advocacy biện hộ to those in need. Community service
can also promote social cohesion sự gắn kết, diversity, and inclusion hòa nhập
by bringing together people from different backgrounds, cultures, and
perspectives to work towards a common goal.
In conclusion, I have agreed with the opinion that young people should take part
in unpaid community service in their free time. I have explained that
community service can help young people develop various skills and qualities
10
that are useful for their personal and professional growth; and that community
service can address various social and environmental issues that affect the
quality of life of the community. Therefore, I suggest that young people should
be encouraged and supported to participate in community service by their
parents, teachers, peers, and organizations. I also recommend that more research
should be done on the impact and outcomes of community service for young
people and society.
12. Nowadays tourism generates a significant portion of national income for
many countries, but it has certain drawbacks too. This essay will examine the
advantages and disadvantages of tourism and provide a logical conclusion.
The two main advantages of developed tourism industry are boost in country’s
economy and a large number of new job openings for the local people. Firstly,
tourists spend money on a wide range of services, including hotels,
amusements, transportation, food and medical services. This way, tourism yields
an additional income, greatly supporting the country’s economy. Secondly,
tourism increases the level of employment by bringing new jobs. For instance,
the influx of tourists results in a larger demand in restaurant workers, tour
guides, hotel staff and employees of retail services, exhorting business owners
to hire more people for these positions.
But tourism also has some major disadvantages like destruction of popular
tourist destinations and development of illegal economic activities. іAncient
buildings, temples and monuments struggle to cope with a vast amount of
visitor’s traffic and get damaged. Also, the large number of tourists can cause
environmental problems. For instance, when places of interest are overcrowded,
natural resources often become overexploited. What’s more, the presence of a
considerable number of tourists with a lot of money to spend, and often carrying
valuables such as cameras and jewelry, increases the attraction for criminals and
brings with it activities like robbery and drug dealing. However, proper
hospitality management and correct usage of tourism revenue by the local
government can eliminate these disadvantages.
To conclude, although tourism can have certain negative effects like destructive
impact and growth of crime rate, it has an extremely positive influence on
country’s economy and provides a large number of new jobs for the local
people. I believe that these benefits of tourism outweigh its drawbacks.
13. Technology is a powerful and pervasive force that has transformed many
aspects of our lives, including education. Technology can provide young
children with various opportunities and resources to learn, communicate, and
11
play. However, technology can also pose some challenges and risks to young
children’s development, health, and well-being. Some people say that the use of
technology among young children is a positive development in their education;
others argue that it does more harm than good. In this essay, I will discuss the
effects of technology on the education of young children and give my opinion
on whether technology is beneficial or detrimental for them.
One positive effect of technology on the education of young children is that it
can enhance their learning outcomes and experiences. Technology can offer
young children access to a variety of educational content, such as e-books,
videos, games, and apps, that can stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and
problem-solving skills. Technology can also facilitate young children’s
interaction and collaboration with their peers, teachers, and parents, through
platforms such as video calls, chats, or blogs. Technology can also support
young children’s individual needs and preferences, by allowing them to learn at
their own pace, level, and style.
One negative effect of technology on the education of young children is that it
can interfere with their physical and mental development and health.
Technology can expose young children to inappropriate or harmful content and
behaviors, such as violence, pornography, cyberbullying, or online predators,
that can affect their safety, privacy, and rights. Technology can also distract
young children from learning and disrupt their attention span, concentration,
and memory. Technology can also reduce young children’s physical activity,
sleep quality, and social skills, by replacing their time spent on outdoor play,
face-to-face communication, and exploration.
In conclusion, I have discussed the effects of technology on the education of
young children. I have explained that technology can enhance their learning
outcomes and experiences; but that technology can also interfere with their
physical and mental development and health. In my opinion, technology is
neither inherently good nor bad for young children; it depends on how it is used
and regulated. Therefore, I suggest that parents and educators should monitor
and guide young children’s use of technology and ensure that it is appropriate,
balanced, and safe for them. I also recommend that more research should be
done on the impact and outcomes of technology on young children’s education
and well-being.
14. In the past lectures were the traditional method of teaching large numbers of
students. Nowadays new technology is increasingly being used to teach
students. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this new approach?
12
Sample essay with detailed vocabulary help and advice on structuring the essay
for coherence.
As we move into the twenty-first century, technology is affecting many different
areas of life and education is no exception. Indeed, in some institutions
traditional forms of education have been revolutionised by new technology to
the extent that the lecture is no longer the main method of delivery. While there
are a variety of benefits to this new approach, there are also significant
drawbacks.
Perhaps the greatest bonus of the introduction of technology is the flexibility it
offers. This is evident in two different ways. Firstly, it is now no longer essential
for students to be present in the lecture theatre for their courses. This means that
part-time courses for adults who are in employment and distance learning
courses for people in other countries are now much more practical. Another area
of flexibility is of course that the lecturer and tutor are able to use Moodles,
interactive whiteboards and other tools to deliver their courses in a more
stimulating way to large numbers of students. Technology can offer young
children access to a variety of educational content, such as e-books, videos,
games, and apps, that can stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and problem-
solving skills. Technology can also facilitate young children’s interaction and
collaboration with their peers, teachers, and parents, through platforms such as
video calls, chats, or blogs. Technology can also support young children’s
individual needs and preferences, by allowing them to learn at their own pace,
level, and style
Not everything, however, about the introduction of this new technology into
education is positive. One major problem is that not all students are comfortable
with using technology, even if they are part of the digital native generation. This
is a serious issue as they may suffer from their lack of technological skills.
Another related issue is that education is a human activity and it works best with
as much human interaction as possible. Impersonal technology cannot replace
the human contact found in traditional face-to-face tutorials and seminars hội
thảo.
Technology can expose young children to inappropriate or harmful content and
behaviors, such as violence, pornography nội dung khiêu dâm, cyberbullying,
or online predators kẻ săn mồi, that can affect their safety, privacy, and rights.
Technology can also distract young children from learning and disrupt làm gián
đoạn their attention span khả năg, concentration, and memory. Technology can
also reduce young children’s physical activity, sleep quality, and social skills, by
13
replacing their time spent on outdoor play, face-to-face communication, and
exploration
As we have seen, there are major benefits to the introduction of technology into
education, not least because it enables modern forms of education such as
distance learning courses. This is balanced, however, by the fact that it can be
too impersonal for some and disadvantages others for their lack of technological
skills.

This essay will discuss the causes to stress related and solutions to deal with this problem.
Air pollution is one of the biggest
environmental problems of our time, affecting millions of people around the
world. In this essay, I will discuss some of the causes and effects of air pollution.
These
pollutants can contribute to global warming, acid rain, smog, and respiratory 2
They may also
think that arts are not as accessible or affordable as other subjects for children’s participation.
On the other hand, there are several arguments against the statement that arts are
crucial for children’s development. In fact, people have this opinion because
arts arts can help children develop skills and competencies that are in high 3
demand in the 21st century, such as creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and
communication. Arts can also help children explore their talents and passions
and pursue their goals and dreams. In addition, arts can help children improve
their physical and mental health by reducing stress, enhancing mood, boosting
confidence, and preventing diseases. It can also help children enjoy their school
life by providing them with fun and meaningful experiences that express their emotions and identity
Last but not least, as the number of people are
smaller in a nuclear family, there is a possibility of reduced conflicts and misunderstanding.
The elderly living alone might suffer
from loneliness and difficulties in doing daily tasks since they are physically
weak. (Người cao tuổi sống một mình thể chịu cảnh đơn, khó khăn trong 5
công việc hàng ngày do thể chất yếu.)The increasing demand for living space
might result in land scarcity. (Nhu cầu về không gian sống ngày càng tăng
thể dẫn đến tình trạng khan hiếm đất.)
(Đại gia đình (Extended family)
Benefits of an extended family (Lợi ích của đại gia đình) 1.
Children can have the opportunity to learn different values and gain a
greater understanding of tradition and culture when they live with multiple
generations of their family. (Trẻ em có thể có cơ hội học hỏi các giá trị khác
nhau và hiểu biết nhiều hơn về truyền thống và văn hóa khi chúng sống với
nhiều thế hệ trong gia đình.) 2.
Children can also learn about caring for their elders, while grandparents
might remain productive and active while they keep up with the children’s
activities and school work. (Trẻ em cũng có thể học cách chăm sóc người lớn
tuổi, trong khi ông bà có thể vẫn làm việc hiệu quả và năng động trong khi họ
theo kịp các hoạt động và công việc ở trường của trẻ em.) 3.
Family members can share responsibilities in terms of childcare,
houseworks and finance. (Các thành viên trong gia đình có thể chia sẻ trách
nhiệm về chăm sóc con cái, công việc nhà và tài chính.)
Disadvantages of extended family 1.
Having more people in the home can make it difficult for everyone to
have their own space, resulting in less privacy. (Có nhiều người trong nhà có thể
khiến mọi người khó có không gian riêng, dẫn đến ít sự riêng tư hơn.) 2.
Disagreements tend to happen more frequently between family members
due to generation gaps. (Bất đồng có xu hướng xảy ra thường xuyên hơn giữa
các thành viên trong gia đình do khoảng cách thế hệ.)
According
to Valamis, a learning solutions company, "Staying competitive in today’s 6
global marketplace means that organizations need to be innovative, adaptive,
and ever-changing.
Forcing students to
focus on drawing may reduce their motivation, engagement, and achievement in
school. According to Simmons (2019), "drawing is not just a skill or just a part 7
of the visual arts, but it is one fundamental pillar of education and learning as
important as literacy and numeracy"1.
I also recommend that teachers should use drawing as a
pedagogical sư phạm tool to enhance learning across disciplines, rather than as an isolated subject.
9. Phones are ubiquitous devices that have many functions and uses, such as
communication, entertainment, education, and safety. However, there is an
opinion that phones should be banned in elementary schools, meaning that
students should not be allowed to bring or use their phones during school hours.
In this essay, I will agree with this opinion and explain why phones should be banned in elementary schools.
In this essay, I will discuss the future of
printed media and argue that they will not become obsolete, but rather adapt and coexist with digital media.
In this essay, I will agree with this
opinion and explain why community service is beneficial for young people and society.
Moreover, community
service can also enhance young people’s self-esteem, confidence, and
responsibility by giving them a sense of purpose, achievement, and contribution.
I have explained that
community service can help young people develop various skills and qualities 10
that are useful for their personal and professional growth; and that community
service can address various social and environmental issues that affect the
quality of life of the community. Therefore, I suggest that young people should
be encouraged and supported to participate in community service by their
parents, teachers, peers, and organizations. I also recommend that more research
should be done on the impact and outcomes of community service for young people and society.
Technology can provide young
children with various opportunities and resources to learn, communicate, and 11
play. However, technology can also pose some challenges and risks to young
children’s development, health, and well-being. Some people say that the use of
technology among young children is a positive development in their education;
others argue that it does more harm than good.
I also recommend that more research should be
done on the impact and outcomes of technology on young children’s education and well-being.
14. In the past lectures were the traditional method of teaching large numbers of
students. Nowadays new technology is increasingly being used to teach
students. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this new approach? 12
Sample essay with detailed vocabulary help and advice on structuring the essay for coherence.
As we move into the twenty-first century, technology is affecting many different
areas of life and education is no exception. Indeed, in some institutions
traditional forms of education have been revolutionised by new technology to
the extent that the lecture is no longer the main method of delivery. While there
are a variety of benefits to this new approach, there are also significant drawbacks.
Impersonal technology cannot replace
the human contact found in traditional face-to-face tutorials and seminars hội thảo.
Technology can
also reduce young children’s physical activity, sleep quality, and social skills, by 13
replacing their time spent on outdoor play, face-to-face communication, and exploration
As we have seen, there are major benefits to the introduction of technology into
education, not least because it enables modern forms of education such as
distance learning courses. This is balanced, however, by the fact that it can be
too impersonal for some and disadvantages others for their lack of technological skills. 14
