4. Discuss of result
The results presented above are by no means capable of covering all the
aspects of the habit of watching films in the cinema of ISBA students due to
the fact that they came from institute of the university and in quite a limited
scope. However, students in ISBA of Banking Academy are those who come
from a variety of cities or provinces in my country. Besides, they also have
the diversity social. Thus, I firmly guarantee a certain level of generalization
of the data that I have collected from my questionnaire.
4.1. The frequency of watching films in the cinema of ISBA students
From the results as shown in Figure 1, page..., it is concluded that ISBA
students tend to go to the cinema to watch films twice a month and the
percentage for every week is quite high. This result is not beyond my
expectation because watching movies in theaters would be more enjoyable
than at home thanks to the more vivid sound, extremely sharp standard
screens and spacious rooms, etc. And most ISBA students still have to
depend on the source of parents' allowance so the frequency of going to the
theater twice a month is reasonable, neither too much nor too little. As a
survey of Asia Plus Inc.( Q&Me), more than half the respondent go to the
cinema once per month or more. Therefore, the frequency of watching films
in the cinema of ISBA students is quite high and this can be impact on the
student's living expenses in 1 month.
4.2. The amount of money that ISBA students spent each time go to
the cinema
According to the results of Figure 2, page..., it is noticeable that ISBA
students often spend from 100.000VND to 150.000VND each time when they
go to the cinema. This result is not beyond as expected, this is because when
going to the cinema, people not only buy tickets but also buy popcorn and
drink to eat when watching films. As reported by AMC Theaters, movie a
ticket for adults will be more than 300.000VND excluding water and food. It
is quite a high price, but now, theaters have a lot of promotions to attract
customers, so the amount of money for each time to go to the cinema has
been partially saved.
4.3. People who often go to the cinema with ISBA students
With research question number 3, the survey results show that the object
that ISBA students often go to the cinema with are friends. In addition, going
to the movies with your lover also takes up a pretty big part. This is because
according to the survey, students often choose the cinema as a place to
entertain, meet friends or a place to date, the fact that the majority of
students go to the cinema with friends is completely understandable. It can
be seen that the number of students going to the movies alone is more than
in the past. Maybe they want to experience a new feeling that can't be found
when going to the movies with friends or family.
4.4. The type of movies that ISBA students often choose
As can be seen from the figure 4, page…, ISBA students would like to choose
romance films most then horror, science fiction and criminal films is also
enjoyed. The reason is that these types of movies are all genres suitable for
young people, especially ISBA students. Romance films often attract
audiences of all ages, not just students. This type of movie often has a high
entertainment element, painting a picture of love, be it family love, couple
love or friendship that makes young people love and immerse themselves in
the movie. In addition, the number of students going to the movies with their
lovers is also quite high, and romantic movies are quite suitable. For action
movies, crime dramas or horror movies, students often want to go to the
theater to experience a better feeling. Through the large screen, vivid sound,
viewers can feel the movie better. This can be seen that students are also
quite interested in the quality of the cinema where they go to relax and
entertain.
