Once upon a time, there
was a frog who lived at
the bottom of a deep well.
He was born there and
had never left the well.
Every day, he would swim
and jump around happily,
thinking that the well was
the whole world.
One day, a sea turtle came
by and looked down into
the well. The frog saw the
turtle and shouted, "Hey!
Come down here! This
place is amazing. I have
cool water, smooth rocks,
and plenty of space to
play. You must be jeal-
ous!"
The turtle replied, "That
sounds nice, but have you
ever seen the ocean?"
"The ocean? What’s that?"
asked the frog, surprised.
The turtle explained, "It’s a
vast body of water, much
bigger than your well. The
waves stretch as far as the
eye can see, and it’s full of
incredible creatures."
The frog was silent. For the
first time, he realized how
small his world really was.
