1. Listen, point, and say. Track 93 -
Look at the pictures and ask students what they can see in pictures 1 and 2. -
Play the first part of the track -
Students point to the correct part of the pictures. -
Play the second part of the track for students to point and repeat the words.
2. Listen and point. Track 94 Guided practice -
Ask students to look at the picture and say what they are they doing. 7 mins -
Elicit the name of the animals. - Play the track. -
Students point to the correct part of the pictures. - Play the track again.
3. Point and say. -
Point to the picture again and elicit the conversations from the recording. -
Practice the dialogues with the class -
Ask students to work in pairs to practice the dialogue
Below level: play Pictionary with the animal words groups
At level: ask students to work in groups making posters about being kind to pets. Pair/ group
