If you want to resolve the problem and be at peace, both the parties must
be willing to solve the problem. To be a close relationship with each other, we can
enjoy with each other such as go shopping, go to cinema, have meal together, or
many full-fills activities. High level of understanding is one of the optimal solution
to combat the problem. Because parents do not treat their children according to
their ages, besides young children spend too much time on social media, so they
do not have enough time for others and their family, it creates the huge gaps
between them.
In my family, we also has generation gaps, although we are nuclear family. I
have my own solutions which I have done and I think it may help you in some way.
Both parents and children should have more conversation together, instead of
using social media all time. If we do not have communication among people then
there will be no exchange of thoughts and views and it may create problem
among people. Parents should avoid putting their children under pressure too
much, everything has two sides. Both the parties should often discuss openly
about their childhood funny and sad incidents that took place during their
childhood days.This activity not only creates bondage but also opens the doors for
understanding. The two parties can understand the lifestyle of each other.
Knowing the childhood of each other helps the parties understand the
physiological patterns formed by each other also. Both the parties should not
develop a very high feeling about themselves. They should understand that they
both have their limitations since they are human-beings. They should understand
that they both depend upon each other at some point or the other.
From the above points discussed we can conclude that no doubt,
the generation gap affects the relationship between people of two
different generations. So, we should try our best to establish a
rapport between two different generations so that our
relationships cannot be harmed.
