Speaking Strategy (Chiến thuật Nói)
When you do a photo comparison task, follow these steps: (Khi thực hiện bài so sánh
tranh ảnh, làm theo các bức sau:
1. Describe each photo in general (e.g. mention the people, where they are, speculate
about what is happening, etc.) (Mô tả tổng quát mỗi bức tranh )e.g. nhắc đến người,
họ là ai, xem xét những thứ đang xảy ra, v.v.)
2. Describe any obvious differences or similarities between the photos. (Mô tả những
điểm giống nhau hoặc khác nhau rõ ràng giữa các bức ảnh.)
3. Speculate about how the people in the photos are feeling, or what they are thinking
or saying. (Xem xét cảm xúc của những người trong ảnh,hoặc những gì có thể nghĩ hay nói.) Bài 4

The picture A shows a kind of market, but the picture C shows a celebration day. The
main difference between two picture is about the number of people. In the picture A,
there are fewer people and they are walking on the street to look some shop. While in
the picture C, there are a lot of people and they are parading to celebrate the event.
(Bức hình A cho thấy một kiểu chợ, nhưng bức hình C cho thấy một ngày lễ. Điểm
khác biệt chính giữa hai bức tranh là về số người. Trong bức tranh A, có ít người hơn
và họ đang đi bộ trên đường và nhìn vào các sạp hàng. Trong khi ở bức hình C cho
thấy có rất nhiều người và họ đang diễu hành để tổ chức sự kiện.) Gợi ý:
- In the first photo, I can see a street market at night. It can’t be in Britain because
some of the shop signs aren’t in English. In the foreground, a young man and woman
are walking along the street. In the background, there are a few other people. The
second photo shows a big crowd of people in a very wide street. They’re standing on
the pavement and they’re watching a parade.
- Both photos show people on the street with many shop signs.
- One obvious difference is that the first photo is taken during the day and the second photo is taken at night.
- In the first photo, the weather must be a cold night because the people are wearing
winter coats and scarves. Whereas in the second photo, it must be warm as there are
people in T-shirts. The people in both photo seems relaxed and not unhappy.
