A. Warm up (8 minutes)
Sing “Clothing Song For Kids”

game.
a. Objectives: Students can sing the Phonics song.
b. Content: Singing the Phonics song.
c. Expected outcomes and assessment:
- Task completed with excellence: Students can sing the Phonics song correctly and beautifully.
- Task completed: Students can sing the Phonics song correctly.
- Task uncompleted: Students can sing the Phonics song but with some difficulties.

Option 1: Pointless
- Put children in groups of four and ask them to sit in a circle
with the group. Each child has one of the sounds /ks/, /j/.
Each child starts with three points.
- The first child says the sound that belongs to one of the
other children. This child must then say another child’s
sound, and so on.
- If a child does not respond to hearing their sound in two
seconds, responds to another child’s sound, says their own
sound, or says the sound of the person who called them, they
lose a point.
- Sing the “Clothing song for kids”.
- Follow and do as guided.
- Join the game.

- Once a child has lost all three of their points, they are out.
Option 2: Spelling race
- Divide the class into groups and give each student a letter
card.
- Say a word. Children race to spell the word, using the letter
cards.
- Give one point to each group that spells the word correctly.

correctly.
