Generally, people may have admiration for a celebrity like a singer or an actor… but for me,
there is a person who is considered my role model… and now I would like to introduce my manager to you.
About our relationship, as a student with little experience in tourism industry, it is lucky for
me to have a talented mentor at work… who keeps an eye on my professional training as
well as daily life matters.
I still remember the first time we got to know each other in the interview, when the
conversation was started in a formal manner, but ended up being just like an intimate chat

Regarding the frequency that we keep in touch, due to my internship schedule that requires

criticism, so that my performance can be enhanced. Specifically, she advises me never to let
my English out of practice, so that I can maintain my English at advanced level.
Lastly, I should also mention the reason why I admire my manager, well… she has many
years of experience in the industry…and deep understanding of my country’s history,
culture, and geography… that may take aback anyone in the first meeting. With the sky is the
limit for her passion in promoting Vietnam’s tourism, she is the perfect example of a diligent
and passionate employee.

Generally, people may have admiration for a celebrity like a singer or an actor… but for me,

Fashion can speak many things about a person, so I usually give notice to the way fashion
icons as well as normal people dress, and there is a person that really impresses me with her
dressing styles. She is a university classmate of mine, who has been the owner of a boutique
for several years, so… there’s no question that she has an eye for what looks good together.
I still remember the first time we got to know each other in the first year meeting, when I was
immediately attracted by her beautiful face with knowledge of fashion styles and brands,
which seemed to be fresh to me at that time.
Regarding her clothing items, she prefers the modern style so most of the time, casual clothes

To round off, I will explain why I admire my friend, having the chances to talk with her, I
have learnt a lot to keep up with fashion trends. She proves that it is not the designer clothing
that costs an arm and a leg, but the ability to combine different items is the key to become a fashionista.

I have been following a number of beauty vloggers and makeup artists, and there is one that I
have always wanted to meet. She is Michelle Phan, an American make-up demonstrator on
Youtube, who has coordinated with many makeup brands and has recently set up her own

Vietnamese people often set a high value on having a roof over their head to settle down. It
depends on each individual when it comes to the ideal home, and now I will make description of my own dream home.
To start with, I should mention some features that it should have. I have always dreamt of a
bungalow with a front garden, in which I could plant some flowers to liven up the space. The
walls would be painted in blue because it is my favorite color and it would help ease people’s
mind during burning summer days in Hanoi.
In terms of the size of the bungalow, I prefer living in a spacious house where my family
members would have no restrictions in arranging all the modern furniture that we want. In
addition, on special occasions like house-warming, we could invite friends and relatives to
our home without worrying that the space is cramped.
Regarding the location, it would be wonderful if my house stayed next to West Lake, the
largest lake of Hanoi, so that I could open the window and enjoy the exquisite view of the lake
every morning. Also, the wind from the lake might relieve the heat during summer time.
To round off, I will mention the reason why I would like to live in such place. Well, there's no
place like home… I believe a large house with all the home comforts available will be perfect
for me to escape from the busy life and refresh myself for another working day.

There are tons of pagodas, temples and historic buildings in Vietnam to tell our long line of
history, but I will choose one of the most popular buildings to tell you about.
Regarding the name of the building, it is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the embalmed body of
Ho Chi Minh is preserved in the cooled, central hall, and protected by a military honor guard.
In terms of the location of this memorial, it is located in the center of Ba Dinh Square in Ha Noi,
surrounded by other government buildings. Every weekend, thousands of visitors come to the
Mausoleum to show their respect to the great President of Vietnam.
Moving on to the historical meaning of the place, here on September the 2nd, 1945, a
breakthrough in Vietnam’s history happened, when Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of
Independence, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
To round off, I will talk about my experience of this building. Whenever I have a chance to enter
the Mausoleum and see the body of Ho Chi Minh, I always feel a sense of gratitude for Uncle
Ho, who had sacrificed his whole life for the happiness and independence of the nation.
