However, to me it is a really meaningful name because it was given by my beloved
grandfather who passed away many years ago.

Answer 1: I come from Ha Nam where is quite near Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and
Hanoi. It often takes me 2 hours to get to Hanoi by coach and about 3 hours to get here by a motorbike.

I really love my hometown because in which not only I was born and growth but also

5. What do you do in your free time?
B1: In my free time, I like listening to music or watching TV. But sometimes, doing
exercises is one of my favourite activities.

Well, in the past, I used to spend my free time wastefully. I just slept and did nothing.

communication. I am also really into listening to music. Music cheers me up and keeps my
spirit high. Sometimes when I have long holidays, I love travelling to somewhere
interesting to discover new things, meet new people and try new food. Of course, I never
forget to spend time with my family at weekends. We talk about things we have done
during the week, watch TV and discuss about our favorite programs together.

Answer 1: I don’t really like playing sports. Because I’m not good at them. If I have a sport I

Well, one of the music instruments I love is guitar. The melody was so smooth and
touching. It really suited my characteristic and reduce my stress.

Quite often because my work is really stressful and it requires lots of time and effort. So I
usually get worried and end up being sleepless. 4

Yes, of course I have. You know, whenever I have important exams like Vstep. I am so
worried. My mind just keeps thinking about them that I can’t fall asleep.

10. If you have a friend with bad health, what advice do you give him or her? B1
Firstly, I would like to tell them to keep their eyes on their health.
After that, I will advise them not to overwork and give them a list of healthy food. And
notice them to go to see a doctor immediately in their free time.

In case my friend is in a bad health condition, I would like to give her some following advice.
First and foremost, she should have a healthy diet with more fresh vegetable and fruits.
She should avoid eating food rich in fat and of course say no with fast food because it
contains a lot of harmful ingredients. It is also a good habit not to skip breakfast coz it
provides necessary energy after a long sleeping night.
Second, she had better drink much water and have enough sleep every day. Getting enough
sleep will help one restore energy and have a sound mind to work and study effectively.
Another way to keep healthy is to take up a sport. I think she should play some sports or
do some exercises such as swimming, running or waking on a daily basis to get into shape and stay healthy.
If she follows my advice, I think she will always have a good health condition.

Không nên bß thói quen ăn sáng vì nó cung c¿p năng l±ÿng c¿n thi¿t sau gi¿c ngÿ đêm.
Thÿ 2, cô ¿y nên ußng nhißu n±ßc và ngÿ đÿ gi¿c hàng ngày. Ngÿ đÿ gi¿c s¿ giúp phÿc hßi
năng l±ÿng và giúp làm vißc cũng nh± hßc t¿p hißu qu¿ h¡n. Cách ti¿p theo là nên tham gia
thß dÿc thß thao. Cô ¿y nên ch¡i mßt sß môn nh±: b¡i lßi, ch¿y, đi bß hàng ngày đß giÿ dáng

11. What’s your favorite food? / What kind of food do you like most? B1
Answer 1: There are many kinds of food such as: seafood, chicken, beef, pork.&but my
favorite food is seafood&..Because it is tasty and good for my health

My favorite food is definitely Pho which is the most popular traditional dish in Vietnam.
Basically, I do think Pho is nutritious. It contains fresh herbs and beef meat which provide
us with all sort of daily essential nutrition such as vitamins, protein and minerals.

12. Do you like travelling? B1
No. I like to stay at home to take a rest more than travelling.

Well, I have to say YES. I am a big fan of travelling. You know, seeing the world from
mountainous areas to white sandy beaches is what makes life interesting. It is really
anwonderful experience when I can see new things, meet new people and know more
about the culture, habits and customs of different regions and nations. Moreover, it is also
a good opoturnity learn foreign languages, make new friends and improve communication.

Well, I take this test because of my job’s requirement. I need B1/B2/C1 certificate.
Honestly speaking, this test is quite difficult but I will try my best.

I love watching TV in my free time. I am really keen on reality programs or sitcoms on our
national channel VTV3 which offers a lot of interesting programs, important events and
always keeps up to date with the latest news in the country and in the world.

16. Which is your favorite season in a year? What are the differences between the North
and the South in Vietnam? B1
There are often 4 season in a year, they are: spring, summer, autumn, winter&but my
favorite season is Spring Because It is cool and I have more time to travel.
And in the North, the weather is cooler than in the South. In the North, we have all four
seasons but in the South, it is distingused by 2 seasons – rainy season and dry season in a year.

For me, I have learned English for &...
At home, I usually self-study by listening to English audio and taking online courses.
In my opinion, the most important factor to learn English is passion. Because learning
English is not easy and you have to put an amount of effort into it. If you don’t have passion
for English, it is likely to force yourself to do something you don’t like and you will get tired of it.

18. How many friends do you have? What is the most important thing of friendship?
I have many friends, they are mostly friends from college. In my view, the most important
thing in friendship is trust-building. If you make friend with someone you don’t trust, the
friendship cannot last long or else you will lose your friends.

19. Introduce a bit about your hometown, about some kinds of local food?
I live in Hưng Yên, where is very peaceful and beautiful. Our most popular local food is Ban
soybean jam which is made of a kind of bean. We have it dry for a week before fermenting it to make soybean jam.

Absolutely to keep fit, I have to follow a strict diet. Besides, I also have to do exercises every

Public transportations bring a lot of benefits for individuals and societies. Firstly, it is
clear that the existence of public transportations helps reduce traffic problems.
Secondly, if the usage of public transportations increased, it means that there will be a
reduction in the consumption of fossil fuels. Consequently, it will reduce air pollution and global warming issues.
Another advantage is you have more time to relax. Instead of driving yourself, a driver
will do that for you. While sitting on a chair, you can entertain by listen to music, read a

Public transport offers a lot of great benefits but it also contains many drawbacks.
As far as I concerned, one of the bad points of Vietnam public transportation is the
awareness of the commuters. Public transportations such as buses or trains are places
where everyone has responsibility for keeping them clean. However, some people litter
their stuff or rubbish on the bus floor when getting off the bus or train.
Another problem that should be taken consideration is the attitude of bus conductors.
Some are not polite to the customers. They show their anger and impatience to the customers.

kinds of public transportation appeared will bring a lot of choices for commuters.
Second, the bus conductors should guarantee the accuracy of departure time so that the
customers feel safe, do not worry about getting to the office late. Moreover, the

Travelling is one of my favourite hobbies. I enjoy visiting anywhere new and interesting.
However, if I have to choose between spending my holiday on the beach or in the
mountain, I would like to go to the beach for some several reasons. Firstly, getting away
from the hustle and bustle of the city to come to a peaceful and quite beach is what makes
my life interesting and comfortable. You know, nothing relaxes me as much as the warm
waves of the blue sea. I also enjoy the feeling winds gently touch my face, which makes

Well, that is quite an interesting question. For me, it depends on the relationship between
