3. Procedures
A. Warm up (5 minutes)
Play one of the two following games.
a. Objectives: Students can join in the game to recall the letters and the words in the previous
lesson.
b. Content: Joining in the game to recall the letters and the words in the previous lesson.
c. Expected outcomes and assessment:
- Task completed with excellence: Students can join in the game to recall the letters and the
words in the previous lesson correctly and fluently.

- Give each students an alphabet flashcard.
- Play the Alphabet song and have the students skip around
in a circle, singing along to the song. Stop music at random
points and the students have to line up in the correct

- Divide the class into groups of five.
- One student says a letter or a word silently. (E.g., rabbit)
- Have the other students try to guess what their friend said.
Have students continue the game as the same way.
- Do as guided.

- In pairs: One tries to say the letter
and the word and the other try to

dictated to them (E.g., “sun”)
- Give the first team to write the word/sentence correctly
one point. The team that gets the most points wins.

- Give the team which has all the correct answers one point.
The team that gets the most points wins.
- Do as guided.
- Join the game to write the words in
