our family is planning on a holiday. There are three options that
are reasonable to your family time and financial budget: three –
day trip to a foreign country, four-day trip to a mountainous area,
and a two-day trip at a beach resort. What do you think is the best choice?
Four-day trip to a mountainous area isn't convenient and the moutain
weather is cool and windy. It can be accident. But my family haven't
travelled mountainous yet. It offers views of the scenic beauty . We can
witness the magnificent view comprising of waterfalls with crystal clear
water and lush greenery. Beside my family can integrating with nature and fresh air,
I think three – day trip to a foreign country and a two-day trip at a beach
resort are good ideas.But It is much expensive for my family's financial
and my family haven’t travelled abroad yet. First we want to tour all
places within my country. Viet Nam has variety of beatifull landscape.
a two-day trip at a beach resort isn't attractive. It is boring for me. becase
my family usually go to the beach on summer holiday. So it's interesting to explore new places 2. One of your
classmates is having a trouble choosing another
foreign language to study for some credits at university and asks
you for your opinion. Between Spanish, Japanese and Thai, which one would be the best?
Thai is difficult to learn, so many characters, so many vowel . Thai
language isn't very useful . Other people don't use the language, many Thai also speak English well
Japanese is a beautiful, but it's the most difficult writing system on earth
- bar none. So, speaking Janpanese fluetly, I think I need take a lot of time
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world. So if I speak
Spanish fluetly, I can have a job opportunily 3. Y
our family is planning on overseas trip this Christmas. However,
you and your family are still concerning about how long the trip
would last. Between 3 days, 5 days and one week. Which one
might be the best selection?
If it’s like the one trip of the year where everyone can be together, I
would go with a week so we can spend the most time together. Because
the purpose of a vacation to remove yourself mentally from the daily
role or rut of what you need to do everyday and we have our head down,
it takes 3–4 days to wind down before we are fully relaxed and can
enjoy our vacation. So one week is my best choice
If it’s a trip to somewhere I’ve never been before, but it’s not like the
only possibility for everyone to see each other, I would go with 5 days.
If I’ve been there before, I would go with 3 days, because if I’ve been
there before I don’t have to experience EVERYTHING, just some things.
An older couple is going away for their 40th wedding anniversary. They
are considering three options: a day hike in the mountains, a luxurious
cruise around the Mediterrean, a spa get away at a beach? Which do you
think would be the most suitable?

neighborhood intends to introduce a new
activity for teenager in the area. They are considering three
options: drama, chess and photography. Which do you think
would be the most suitable for teenager in your area.
 I do believe taking pictures has so many benefits on teen’s physical and mental health too such as
- having a different perspective on life : when photography, they notice
small details they haven’t noticed before.
- Making friends and It is a wonderful way to encourage creative expression
So Photography is the best choice and is considered to be a cool thing to
do and is equally attractive to teenager.
 Drama is very interesting but Nowaday teenager is spending the most
of day glued to phone screen so I don't think drama will the best
 chess is a wonderful way to teach teenager mathematical concepts
and important thinking skills that they can use their entire life.
Patience is one of the most important things chess teaches teenager.
Once they learn to slow down and take their time, they discover a
whole new world. But some teenager think chess is boring so it''s very
hard to encourage all teenagers to take part in 5. In order
to raise student’s awareness of would affairs, the
principle of a high school in your neighborhood wants teacher to

Around half of high school teachers teach climate change minimally or

But I think discrimination is more usefull than other 2 because :

I think a library is the best choice because going to the library can leave
a lot of worries and cares behind, you can always find a quiet, private
place to read or do work. Libraries play an important role in supporting education
People of every age and gender should be able to utilize public sports
facilities. As most people are increasingly with professional and
familial , they often lack the time to take exercises. By constructing
sports centre and parks, can provide these people the appropriate setting
for them to participate in usefull activities 7. This summer
you and your friends are planning to go on a trip
through Vietnam. Here are three means of transport you are
considering: car, train and plane. Which would be best option in your opinion?
I can travel anytime and anywhere by car. I can have my own schedule
and can make unexpected stop such as I can stop any café by the side of
the road. and Move quickly from one place to another.
Train is more expensive than travelling by car. The trains are sometimes crowded and delayed
Plane is the most expensive and many procedures to check in 8. Y
ou are planning on buying a house, there are three options that
need consideration; well-equipped apartment on the 30th floor of
a condominium in the city center; a three-floor house in the
suburbs without any furniture , and a single-floor with full
furniture. What do you think is the best choice? 9. A
group of friends is discussing ways to improve listening skill.
Three possible options are watching movie on movie star,
listening to radio programs and conversing with foreigners.
Which way do you think is the best option?
Watching films may expand my vocabulary and learns to
communicate effectively and may improve his/her listening skill
Reading books can improves reading skill rather than listening skill
Talking with foreigners may improve speaking skill and may learn
to communicate well and can hear many funny stories from
different countries in the world. It's easy to find foreigners to talk
with them at coffee shops. I may not be confident enough to speak with them 10. A
group of people are discussing ways to protect the
environment. Three possible options are go to school or work by
bicycle, recycle all bottles, cans and paper and buy locally made
goods whenever possible. What way do you think is the best choice?
Commuting by bike or walking is an easy way to help reduce my impact
on the environment. Use public buses instead of motorbikes can avoid
traffic jams and reduce exhaust fume. If the number of cars on the road
continues to increase, then we will have to develop new roads. If we all
start riding a bike, there will be many more green terrains.
Recycling all bottles, cans and paper are always unhygienic, unsafe.
Products from recycled waste may not be durable
Buying local is usually more expensive which most people find to be its
biggest disadvantage. Not as Much Variety or Selection

our class is going to get together and celebrate when exams
are over. You and your friends have been asked to decide to have
a picnic, a party at someone’s house or a meal at a restaurant.
Which options do you think is the best choice?
Having a picnic is more interesting because we have a large space for us
to do many activities: cooking, singing or dancing. Besides having a
picnic, I think they’re a great way to bond with teacher and friends.
What a wonderful idea. It’s to just relax, enjoy nature and the company
of loved ones at the same time.
I don't like to hold a party at someone's house, we do not have a place to
cook food and prepare for the party.

sandy beach for sunbathing, picturesque mountainous area for

Well, I think I would choose picturesque mountainous area for picnic as
the most suitable choice for my holiday.You know, I haven''t travelled
mountainous area yet. So this is simply because I can enjoy the beautiful
scenery and save memory by taking photos
Regarding sandy beach for sunbathing, it can't be denied that there are
some exciting activities at the beach such as sunbathing, playing water
sports or building sandcastles.
However, I quite often go to the beach to enjoy the sea food , or just go
for walks there. Therefore, I want something different for my holiday
It is clear that recreational center for risky sports is also a good idea. It
have many kind of sports I haven't never played yet. So I can try it. That sounds great
But you know to me, it is not suitable because I don't like risky sports
For all these reasons, a sight-seeing holiday is the best option. 13. One of your
friends has problem with his/ her sleep. What
would you recommend him/ her to do to better sleep: counting
sheep, reading before bed, listening to classical music?
Counting sheep is terribly boring. Counting sheep is so simple that it
does not prevent your mind from going back to those other thoughts.
Therefore, counting sheep doesn''t help your sleep
Music can aid sleep by helping you feel relaxed and at ease. But if you
listen to music with phone, bright lights of your phone send “stay
awake” signals to your brain.
Taking time to read in the minutes and hours leading up to bedtime can
help reduce stress and allow your mind and body to relax.It can help
your’s brains develop and help you achieve better sleep.

our friends are discussing ways to makes donations for
charitable organizations. Three options are donating old clothes, pr
oduce hand- made crafts and sell for
money, giving food. Which
do you think is the best option?
It's easy to collect old clothes. My friends or relatives can give me a lot of old clothes.
Besides the poor don't have enough clothes to wear, chidren need a lot of
warm clothes to help them keep warm in the winter.
Producing hand-made crafts and sell for money are unpractical because
It is difficult to produce hand-made crafts nicely and It's hard to sell
them to raise money for charitable Giving food
+ The poor don't have enough food to eat
Collecting and receiving food donations may cause unforeseen problems
and expenses for charitable organization. when I donate a money, I''m
able to put more meals on the tables of families than if I donated food
so I think they need more clothes than 15. Y

would you like to go to: the cinema, shopping center, recreation center? Go shopping center
I can buy necessary things for their daily life. I can try things on, pick
things up, so they can relax after school. But I''m student so don't have enough money to go shopping
Go to the cinema : I can enjoy a new film with visual effects or better
sound. We can talk with each other or play arcade game together in
waiting time. After watching the movies, they can chat with their friends
about these films and they may have a lot of interesting things to talk about

Facebook is one of the largest social media networks. It's an effective
way to drive traffic from active users. In addition to the easy setup, the
large reach of active users and flexible ads provide fast results. So I
think using Facebook is the best choice
Leaflets lack long term impact as many consumers may read the leaflet
but they will not keep them. Once read leaflets often aren’t needed any more
sending emails/ text messages may irritates consumers. If your messages
aren't targeted to the right people, other people may delete your email or
unsubscribe. It's very hard to sending emails/ text messages to advertise your products 17. Y
ou feel sorry for the mistake you’ve made with a friend. You
want to make apology but don’t know if a telephone call, a text
message or handing writing letter can do best.
Best way is a face to face encounter and saying it and wait for the
other person response. By showing your courage to listen for their
response in front of them, will create a respect toward you and you
get what you want, their pardon. 18. Y

next: a new canteen, a sports center or a new library. Which
facility do you think will be of benefit for your school.
