1-4 with four answers from a-f.

5- Are your parents going to go?
6- Is the final going to be on TV?
Activity 2: Imagine you and a friend are organising a trip to the final

. Write questions for 1-6. Then ask your partner.
Activity 3: Match sentences 1-5 with rules a-c.
1- ‘m feeling (action in progress)
2- Are/ doing (future arrangement)
3- ‘re revising (future arrangement)
4- are/ asking (action in progress)
5- going (future arrangement)
6- ‘m thinking (action in progress)
Activity 4: Complete the dialogue with the present continuous form
of the verbs in the box. Which sentence is an action in progress and
which is an arrangement for the future?
Activity 5: USE IT! Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions using
phrases from the boxes. Use the present continuous.

form of “be going to” by heart:
Am/ Is/ Are + S + going to + Vo?
2/ You all must know that the present
continuous tense can express future
arrangements.
