I.Introduction:
-The environment is the natural world around us, and it’s very important for our survival.
-However, today, the environment is facing many serious problems caused by human activities.
-These problems include pollution, deforestation, and global warming.
It’s constantly degrading the quality of the environment.
-In this essay, I’ll discuss some of the main environmental problems,
their causes, and their effects. *PROBLEM: 1. Pollution:
+One of the biggest environmental problems in the world.
+There are different types of pollution: air, water, land pollution 1.1. Air pollution:
+Happens when harmful gases like CO2 and smoke are released into the air
+These gases come from cars, factories, power plants and burn trees/waste/fossil fuels
+Air pollution is harmful to our health because it can cause
problems like asthma and lung diseases.
+Moreover, it lead to ozone layer depletion 1.2. Water pollution:
+Many factories and homes release chemicals, waste, and
plastic into rivers, lakes, and oceans.
+When it rains, chemical fertilizers/ pesticides go deep into
the ground and pollute underground water
+This makes the water dirty and unsafe to drink.
+It also harms fish and other animals that live in the water.
+Besides, pollution also harm the ocean, killing fish and sea animals. 1.3. Land pollution:
+Happens when harmful chemicals, often from chemical
pesticides and industrial waste, are released into the soil
+Especially when people throw away trash on the ground or
in places like parks and beaches.
+Plastic waste is one of the biggest problems because it takes many years to break down 2. Deforestation:
+is an action cut down trees in forests.
+This is a serious problem because trees are very important for the environment.
+Tree helps clean the air by absorbing CO2 and giving us oxygen
during photosynthesis (quang hợp).
+Besides, they provide homes for many animals. When forests are
cut down, animals lose natural habitats which may lead to the extinction
of animals and the air becomes dirtier
+Deforestation also causes the soil to become dry and unprotected,
which leads to problems like flooding, landslide, erosion 3. Global warming:
+Is caused by the increase of harmful gases and greenhouse gases
in the atmosphere, such as CO2.
+These gases trap heat from the sun, causing the Earth’s
temperature to rise lead to climate change, which means the weather becomes more extreme
+Some areas may experience very hot temperatures, while other
areas may have heavy rainfall or strong storms.
+It is also causing ice at the North and South Poles to melt which makes sea levels rise.
+This’s a big problem for people for people who live near the coast
because their homes and cities can be flooded
