CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1. Information about the internship
This internship took place at Hồng Mộc Private Enterprise, a company
specializing in the production and supply of both household and industrial gas
types. Spanning from March 18, 2024, to July 19, 2024, I was assigned to and
had the opportunity to intern in the business department of the company.
During this period, I had the chance to work directly with the professional team
in the business department, focusing on market development and expanding the
customer base for the company's gas products. My primary responsibilities
included searching for and developing new customers, consulting and supporting
clients, as well as participating in the process of selling products and services.
Each of these tasks not only provided me with practical knowledge of the
business sector but also helped me develop communication, negotiation, and
customer relationship management skills.
Throughout the internship, I learned to apply theoretical knowledge to practical
scenarios, gaining deeper insights into business operations and workflow within
an actual enterprise. This experience not only enhanced my professional skills
but also offered a comprehensive view of the professional working environment,
laying a crucial foundation for my future career development.
1.2. Purpose
The purpose of my participation in this internship at Hồng Mộc Private
Enterprise was to gain a profound and practical experience of the business
environment, thereby enhancing the knowledge and professional skills I have
acquired during my university education. This endeavor aimed to bridge
theoretical concepts with practical application, broadening my understanding of
the industry I am pursuing.

Firstly, my specific intention was to immerse myself in a real working
environment to comprehend how a business operates within the management and
commerce sectors. I sought to observe and engage in the daily workflow,
extracting practical lessons on the dynamics of business management and
development within an actual corporate setting.
Furthermore, my objective was to apply theoretical knowledge to address
specific business challenges faced by the company. Through this, I aimed to
identify the gap between theory and practice, recognizing my strengths and
limitations in implementing academic knowledge into practical work scenarios.
Additionally, the internship at Hồng Mộc provided me with an opportunity to
develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time
management in a professional setting. I intended to seize this chance to refine and
enhance these skills, which are crucial for my future career advancement.
1.3. Target
The primary aim of this internship period is not only to fulfill the academic
requirements of the university program but also to provide me with the
opportunity to demonstrate and apply the specialized knowledge I have gained
throughout my academic journey in a real-world work environment.
Specifically, the objectives of this internship include:
Applying theory to practice: By participating in business activities at
Hồng Mộc Private Enterprise, I aim to transform the knowledge I have
acquired in business, management, and marketing into practical lessons.
This will enhance my understanding of how to flexibly apply management
and business strategies to meet the specific needs and conditions of the
company.
Developing professional skills: Beyond improving my expertise, I also
seek to broaden and enhance my skills related to customer management,

planning, and organizing business activities, such as developing new
products and engaging in marketing strategies.
Understanding the real business environment: Working directly at Hồng
Mộc will provide me with a deep insight into the operational, managerial,
and implementation aspects of business programs in an actual enterprise,
and how to facilitate the best conditions for business growth.
Developing and improving soft skills: My involvement in various projects
and business activities will contribute to developing leadership, teamwork,
problem-solving, and communication skills. These soft skills are crucial
for any profession, especially in the fields of business and management.
Self-assessment and feedback: Lastly, I anticipate receiving feedback
from management and colleagues during the internship. This will allow
me to evaluate my current capabilities and identify directions for
developing my expertise and skills, contributing to my personal
development in the future.

0301390924 on April 28, 1988. In 2000, the company initiated its operations in
the LPG business under the brand HGAS, primarily engaged in the trading and
import-export of LPG. Hồng Mộc offers two main types of gas cylinders: 12kg
and 45-48kg, available in various colors and valve types to meet diverse
customer needs. Additionally, the company has a fleet of tank trucks dedicated to
supplying industrial gas.

2.2. Company’s history and development
Hồng Mộc Private Enterprise was established under investment license number
015681 issued on April 28, 1988, initially operating in the field of handicraft
production, mainly through Singapore and Malaysia. Reflecting the country's
development and the global trend towards clean energy use, from 2000, Hồng
Mộc shifted to the LPG business sector, marking the inception of an LPG
bottling station at 25/2A Lê Văn Khương, Hiệp Thành Ward, District 12, Ho Chi
Minh City. The HGAS brand of the enterprise began to establish its position in
the market, competing with many other brands in the LPG industry, with its
leading products being 12kg and 45-48kg gas cylinders.
The enterprise has always prioritized safety, efficiency, and reasonable pricing to
serve its customers best. Over ten years of development, Hồng Mộc's market has
increasingly expanded, evidenced by investment in several important projects. In
2008, the enterprise completed a comprehensive port warehouse project at Ông
Kèo Industrial Zone, Đồng Nai Province, with an investment value of 150 billion
VND, including a port specifically for 5000-ton ships, a total LPG storage
capacity of 1200 tons, and a gas cylinder manufacturing plant with a capacity of
1200 cylinders per shift.

Following this, in 2010, the third LPG bottling station project was completed in
Tiền Giang, helping to expand the market to the Western region. By 2012,
Branch IV, with an investment capital of 150 billion VND, was established in

seaport and an LPG bottling plant, contributing to the expansion of Hồng Mộc's
business network nationwide.

These efforts were recognized by achieving ISO 9001: 2008 certification and the
H-GAS brand being acknowledged as a reputable product brand by the Ministry

tank trucks are designed and maintained to the highest standards, meeting the
requirements for safe and flexible LPG transportation to various locations.

Warehouse Leasing: Hồng Mộc provides warehouse leasing services with
modern and secure facilities. Particularly, at Ông Kèo Industrial Zone, Nhơn
Trạch District, Đồng Nai Province, the company has a river port that allows
5000-ton ships to unload, with a vast area of up to 30,000m², catering to large
storage and transportation needs.
Sea and River Ports: Beyond the river port at Ông Kèo Industrial Zone, Hồng
Mộc also owns a seaport in Cam Ranh, Khánh Hòa, capable of accommodating
5000-ton ships and offering an unloading and loading area of up to 100,000m².

3.1.Position
During this internship, I was assigned to work in the business department of the
company, which plays a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the market
for the organization. This department focuses not only on selling products and
services but also on searching for and developing relationships with new
customers, as well as consulting and supporting them to ensure long-term
satisfaction and loyalty.
The significance of the business department is undeniable as it directly impacts
the revenue and growth of the enterprise. The search for and development of new
customers form the foundation for market expansion and enhancing competitive
positioning. Each new customer not only generates revenue but can also become
an invaluable source of referrals, paving the way for new business opportunities.
The connection of the business department with other company divisions is also
vitally important. This necessitates close collaboration with the production
department to have a clear understanding of the products, the logistics
department to ensure timely delivery, and the after-sales service department to
provide support and advice to customers. The seamless integration of these
departments contributes to building a professional and reputable image of the
business in the eyes of customers.

Trạch District, Đồng Nai Province, the company has a river port that allows
5000-ton ships to unload, with a vast area of up to 30,000m², catering to large
storage and transportation needs.
Sea and River Ports: Beyond the river port at Ông Kèo Industrial Zone, Hồng
Mộc also owns a seaport in Cam Ranh, Khánh Hòa, capable of accommodating
5000-ton ships and offering an unloading and loading area of up to 100,000m².
This not only enhances logistic capabilities but also expands the company's

CHAPTER 3: POSITION & TASK 3.1. Position
During this internship, I was assigned to work in the business department of the
company, which plays a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the market
for the organization. This department focuses not only on selling products and
services but also on searching for and developing relationships with new
customers, as well as consulting and supporting them to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
The significance of the business department is undeniable as it directly impacts
the revenue and growth of the enterprise. The search for and development of new
customers form the foundation for market expansion and enhancing competitive
positioning. Each new customer not only generates revenue but can also become
an invaluable source of referrals, paving the way for new business opportunities.
The connection of the business department with other company divisions is also
vitally important. This necessitates close collaboration with the production
department to have a clear understanding of the products, the logistics
department to ensure timely delivery, and the after-sales service department to
provide support and advice to customers. The seamless integration of these
departments contributes to building a professional and reputable image of the
