scientific jobs, researches, and so on. Therefore there should be an equality for men and women.
2. World governments should conduct serious campaigns against smoking. Chính phủ các
quốc gia nên có các chiến dịch mạnh mẽ hơn để tuyên truyền việc dừng hút thuốc.
In my opinion, the campaigns agaist smoking are very vital in preventing and improving
community health. Recently the number of people who get respiratory diseases and die of lung
cancer due to affect of smoking is increasing.
3. Television is doing irreparable harm. Ti vi đang gây ra các tác hại không thể nào sửa chữa
được

TV is one of the most fundamental sources of information and knowledge and also a wonderful
entertainment tool.
4. . Bố mẹ ngày này quá dễ dãi thoải máiParents are too permissive with their children nowadays
với con cái
As far as I’m concerned, parents nowadays are a lot more easier to children than in the past. In
the past, parents often had some certain regulatations which helped children to concentrate on what
were good for them in the future such as not starting relationship too early so that they could focus
on studying. But parents today do not prevent or advice and direct children on this.
4. Examinations exert an pernicious influence on education. Thi cử tạo ra sức ảnh hưởng độc hại
cho giáo dục
I hold the opposing view because schools can not access the quality of their teaching or their
teachers without exams. The children also can not evaluate their knowledge to have solution to
improve their study.
SAMPLE SITUATIONS (tình huống)
1. Your husband didn’t smoke at home. However, his friends or relatives often visited your
house and they smoked a lot. You and your husband don’t like that. What would you do?
If relatives and friends visit my house and they smoke while we don't like it, I will subtly remind
them to go out on the balcony to smoke if they want and frankly share their thoughts on the harmful
effects of tobacco especially smoke for people around because it will make them 4 times more toxic
than people who smoke directly.
2. You had a baby and after six months bringing up the baby, you are going to be back to
work. However, your husband wanted you to stay at home to take care of the child and he
explains that he can support for your family. What would you do in this situation?
I would explain to him that money is only one of the purposes of working. Working also can
help women a lot in release the stress after birth because when a woman goes to work she can
interact with other people, and going to work doesn’t mean women will stop totally taking care of
babies
3. You bought a new smart TV. However, you were worried because your son got addicted to

limit to watch youtube, Planning Plan every day scientifically.
2
5. Your son was very nice to everyone in your family. However, yesterday, he went out to play
with his cousins and relatives at their houses. After that, you heard much complaints from
them for not having good manners to them. What would you do?
I would talk to him to find out exactly what happened yesterday. After that I will bring the
relatives and cousins to my house to spend time with him again and observe their interaction.
6. Your husband/wife always forced your daughter to join a lot of competitions for talented
students. As a result, she felt quite stressful. What would you do?
Nowadays many children suffer from depression because parents' expectations are too much to
avoid that happening to their children I will talk to her, ask her if she loves those talent contests? If I
don't really like it, I will try to convince my relatives not to force my child to participate in those
competitions because parents also need to respect their children.
7. Your little daughter had a lot of toys at home but she still insisted you on buying some more
for her birthday. What would you do?
First I will determine if the toy is suitable for children to play and learn at the same time? Is the
durability worth the price? If they meet the requirements, I will not refuse because children learn and
develop thinking through many toys (for example, lego is very suitable for learning while playing
and developing thinking).
8. You were in a family of three people: your Mom, who was sick and over 80 years old; you
and a sister/ brother. You and your sister/ brother didn’t live near your Mom. What would
you do in this situation?
I will discuss with relatives to pick up my mother to a most convenient place for my brothers and
sisters to take care of. A sick person cannot be alone, moreover it is his mother. We can also hire
additional helpers on an hourly basis in case of emergencies.

Fortunately, you won a scholarship to study abroad. Your parents approved of this.

careful preparation brings good results.

3

your husband are too busy with work. Your husband wanted you to stay at home to help
bringing up and taking care of the children and he explains that he can support for your
family. What would you do in this situation?
Personally, I would not agree to stay at home and focus only on watching and taking of our
children. I don’t want to be a stay-at-home mom and financially dependent. Plus, two children
require a significant amount of money on their education as well as other aspects.
13. There are many modern technological devices in your house: a smart TV, an Ipad, a laptop.
However, you were worried because your children might got addicted to watching TV and
neglect studying. What would you and your husband (wife) do?
I think letting children get access to technological devices such as smartphones is not a good
thing to do as parents. Children should be more active by playing outside with friends. However, this
is also a chance for parents to teach children how to manage their time well. My personal view is that
the more you try to forbid, the more children want to do what they are not allowed.
14. There were good cartoons and Opening World Cup programme on TV today. You and
your son both wanted to watch for your own hobbies. What would you do to balance your

us can be happy with each other.

a compensation. What would you do?

happens this time because he needs to understand that demanding toys when someone wrongs him is
not a good behavior. And he should not expect it from everyone.

a famous foreign language learning center. The fact that the girl felt quite stressful made
you tired. What would you do?

Being stressed is a sign of being overloaded, which can lead to serious problems. Having a balanced
schedule between studying and relaxation should be prioritized.
17. Your little son had a lot of homework to do but he still insisted you on going out for
entertainment. What would you do?
Homework is generally a good way for students to practice what they have learned in school. So,
I will tell my son to finish his homework before the deadline. However, I will tell him that if he
finished his homework before the deadline, I would reward him with a trip on another day in order to
encourage my son.

I will discuss this with my sister and brother to decide whether we should take turn to look after
him, or he can live with one of us who are most financially capable but the others will contribute
money as well. Nonetheless, the most important thing is to make our dad feel as comfortable as he
can.
19. Imagine that you were a 23- year- old girl who was in love with a 24- year- old man. You
were going to get married next year. The thing was that he just won a scholarship to study
abroad. His parents approved of this but you and your family didn’t like this to happen.
What would you do?
Because this is serious decision which can alter our lives in many different ways, I will
personally approach this problem after a long discussion about our future goals and intentions. I will
try to keep this relationship by trying to find a job in the country he is going to or wait until he come
back because finding someone who is suitable for marriage is hard.
20. You were in dilemma when finding that your son was in grade 9 but he started smoking.
You as Mum and Dad were really worried about him as you know it was not good for his
health. What would you do?

succumb to peer pressure to smoke. As a parent, I will talk with son about smoke as much as possible
and help him understand why he started smoking and its harmful effects. Additionally, I will give
him space to think about it rather than force him to stop which can have opposite effects.

computers or smart phones especially for old people. It is also cheaper for families in rural and
remote areas to have a TV for whole family rather than smart phone for each member.

I normally use smart phone because it is small and convenient to bring to everywhere so you can be
updated with the news mostly every time and every where.
