To succeed in a business, one needs to be good at maths. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is believed that mathematical knowledge is essential for an enterprise. But in interviews with
entrepreneurs, there are more necessary abilities besides math. And i partially agree with the idea
above.
To commence with it, math plays an important role in business. It is clear that business plans are
made based on numbers in the merchandising, especially in commercial products exchange, analyse
market reports. Although one can hire an expert to work as an accountant and take care of all the
financial papers. But without knowing basic math, an entrepreneur will get into trouble and can not
predict the future market of the business, their business would be collapsed.
On the other hand, on that follow entrepreneurship should be equipped with other traits as well.
Firstly, entrepreneurs need to have good leading skill in order to drive a thriving business. For
instance, they need to identify the aim and the vision for the corporation, drawing a clear path for
their employees. Secondly, a success business person needs to acquire interpersonal skill. By that
they need to understand other’s feeling and thoughts. This could construct a strong and harmonious
with their customers, partners and employees which is important for their work to survive and
succeed.
To summarize, although i can’t deny the indispensable part of math in trading activities, but there are
other vital characteristic such as being visionary or empathetic can help a company prosperous.
