why are you interested in this job position
I'm always looking for ways to improve my skills and contribute to a positive work

what do you think about the roles and responsibilities of this job are?
as a hotel receptionist i expect the job responsibilities to include helping guests
check in and check out i will be answering the phones and helping guests with any
queries or problems they have as it's a front of house position the receptionist is
the first point of contact for anyone visiting the hotel so they need to be at their best
at all times
do you have any experience working in a hotel
Yes, I have 4 years of experience working in hotels, most of the working time at the First
Hotel where I worked as a receptionist/front desk staff. During my time over there, I gained
extensive experience in different skills such as greeting guests, checking them
in/out, handling reservations, resolving guest inquiries, etc.]. I also achieved high guest
satisfaction ratings, resolving challenging guest situations efficiently, etc.].

a concierge is the team responsible for helping
guests, they will go above and beyond to make the guest or resident experience

What strategies do you use to ensure a positive first impression guests entering the hotel?
Warm welcome, smooth check-in, inviting them to go around the hotel such as lobby and

One time on the night shift I had to deal with a guest who was late checking in and
I realized he had booked the wrong date. Unfortunately, the room type he booked
for that night was full, and the higher-end room type was also no longer available.
So I asked him if he could check in to a lower room type, but he refused as he said
he already made an important note with the sales executive. At this time, I can only
support him by booking him a room at another hotel in the same system with our
hotel. He accepted the offer, I immediately contacted the nearest hotel, Tan Son
Nhat Hotel, fortunately they still had the same room type available, I asked the
sales staff to assist in transferring his booking to that hotel. that. I booked a taxi
and sent him off, he was very happy and satisfied with my assistance
How did you feel about yourself in that situation?
I feel proud of my problem-solving skills, my ability to stay calm under pressure,
and my dedication to provide the excellent customer service. I handled that
challenging situation with grace and professionalism, so I am happy with my
actions.
