SENTENCE STRUCTURE - PRONOUNS Sentence Structure
● Every sentence needs at least one verb and one subject; The verb is an
action, the subject is the noun that performs that action.
● Some sentences can add objects - nouns that also participate in the action.
● Some sentence structure rules:
○ Capitalize the first letter of the first word in a sentence.
○ End sentences with periods, question marks, exclamation points, or quotation marks.
○ In most cases, the subject of the sentence comes first, the verb comes
second, and the object comes last. (Subject -> Verb -> Object)
○ If the subject is singular, the verb must also be singular. If the subject
is plural, the verb must be plural.
