Positioning Map
To position Hoa Sen University, our group created a survey that included 5 universities in
Ho Chi Minh City: Hoa Sen University, Van Lang University, Hutech University,
University of Economics and Finance, and Huflit University. The survey assessed the
tuition fees, training quality, geographical location, and facilities of each university.
We collected 50 responses from the survey between April 9, 2024, and April 10, 2024.
Based on the survey results, we will use tuition fees as the benchmark to compare with
other factors.
First, we will comment on the tuition fee of Hoa Sen University. We can see that in
general, Hoa Sen University's tuition fees will be higher than other schools. However,
this tuition fee will come with additional elements, features and values that help bring
consumers the most benefits.
• Tuition level compared to training quality
From the Positioning Map we can see that Hoa Sen University leads in both factors:
tuition fees and training quality. Although the tuition fee is high, the quality of training is
very good, creating trust for those who are, are and are about to study at Hoa Sen
University. Next are the University of Economics and Finance, Van Lang University,
Huflit University and finally Hutech University.
• Tuition level compared to geographical location
Next, we can see that because Hoa Sen University has campuses located in the central
area of Ho Chi Minh City, the tuition price as well as the convenience of going to school
is still at the top compared to other universities. study differently.
• Tuition fees compared to facilities
Similar to the 2 Positioning Map above, we can see that Hoa Sen University is still in the
top position due to the extremely high number of votes from surveyors regarding tuition
fees as well as facilities. It also shows us that although the tuition fee is high, the rewards

with tuition fees ranked second only to Hoa Sen University. Next is Van Lang University,

trends. Students undergo internships and regularly participate in field trips to leading
domestic and international companies. Students are encouraged to undertake course
projects and are provided with ample opportunities to participate in university events as
part of their curriculum.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Nurturing students with comprehensive knowledge, critical
thinking skills, creativity, and strong leadership abilities in various fields. Students take
ownership and lead projects, with the university acting as an "investor" through nearly 30
projects, competitions, and events. Among these, The Future Chef Contest has set a
Vietnamese record, the GenZ - Leading Generation program has become a "million-
view" reality TV show, the Fashion Creation project has made a big splash in the fashion
industry, and the I-Hotelier project with 14 seasons has produced "talents" in the
hospitality industry.
