Trade fair Report
On May 20th, I had a chance to visit a trade fair called Autotech Vietnam,
under the industry of cars and motorbikes. Autotech & Accessories is the
oldest and most prestigious specialized exhibition in Vietnam in the field of
Automotive Industry - Motorcycles and Supporting Industry with 18 times
held. This year, the trade fair had been taken place in 3 days from 19 to 21th
May at Saigon Exhibition and ConventionCenter - SECC, Ho Chi Minh City.

Before attending to this trade fair, I had been so excited looking forward to
seeing fancy cars and vehicles, but there was no cars but there was a wide
variety of vehicle accessories on display from Vietnam and several foreign firms.

The event is organized by the Department of Industry (VIA) and Asia Trade Fair
and Promotion Joint Stock Company (ATFA) and the Korean K-Wellness
Association, in collaboration with the Vietnam Supporting Industry Association
(VASI), under Sponsored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(VCCI). With an international scale, Saigon Autotech 2023 Exhibition not only
has domestic enterprises (accounting for nearly 40%) but also brings together
many foreign enterprises from many other countries in the region and the
world (accounting for nearly 40% of the total). more than 60% of participating
enterprises) such as: Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia... with rich and
diverse product lines. The exhibitors of Saigon Autotech 2023 will display and
introduce products such as cars, motorbikes - electric bicycles, spare parts,
components, electronic systems, forklifts and technical machines, vehicle lights. ….

The scale of the exhibition is 10,000 square meters for nearly 200 exhibitors
with more than 300 booths. The products on display include spare parts and
components: transmission and chassis, bodywork, interior and exterior.
Vehicle accessories and tuning, repair and maintenance equipment, vehicle
support electronics and systems, services and more including IT and
management systems and the list go on.
Organizing activities including: pre-opening press conference, exhibitions and
product introduction programs, specialized conferences and seminars,
networking and trading programs, giving gifts to participants deals and promotions.
As far as I can see, I think the trend for vehicle technology in the coming years
will be automation and the introduction of more productive types of
production that produce productive outputs that will support the vehicle sector.
There are many products that caught my attention. There is a company from
Korea, it offers a product called laser processing head. The highlight of the
product is that it can perform 3-D cutting and welding in an arbitary sequence

I went and asked why they came and became an exhibitor here. They
enthusiastically told me that it is difficult to reach customers directly so they
want to find distributors to enter and trade in Vietnam.
In addition, products from Vietnamese companies are also very good and
interesting. There is a very prominent stall located at the entrance which is
Fireball. The company offers a wide range of car care products and services,

I stopped here for a long time to admire their eye-catching products, and
participate in the experience activities of the booth, I drew a lottery and a very
beautiful pink glass cleaner bottle. Since I liked this red booth so much, I didn't
hesitate to ask them a few questions such as a short interview, knowing that
their company is from the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. They have been
established for the last few years, coming to this trade fair they want to find
partners as well as contact more customers, introduce and promote their
products so that more people know about their products. Highlights as well as
many gifts for visitors and the enthusiasm of the staff impressed me.
Their company offers a wide range of products and services, with prices
ranging from 500,000 VND to 4,000,000 VND.
Through this trade show, I had the opportunity to participate for the first time
and witness with my own eyes the gathering of many products from so many
countries. I am very happy because Vietnam has a very dynamic trading
environment and huge development opportunities. What it has inspired
makes me want in the future I will also be a part of this business.
