What important lesson do we learn as children?
Many people claim that we only begin our education when we enter 1st grade but the truth is
that we start learning from the moment when we can perceive everything around us. Thus,
there are important lessons that we have consciously learned. Here are two lessons that I think
are the most valuable when we were children.
In the first place, the lesson that no one will probably be able to forget is never to give up.
Surely, everyone has had a hard time learning to ride a bicycle and so do I. In the first test
drives, falling is inevitable. Afterward, you may get scratched or even bleed and it makes you
frightened of cycling. Probably, after that, you keep trying a few more times but riding a wheeler
is not easy for kids like us. And the key now is that do you give up or not? Only if you do listen to
encouragement from family or even do revive your inner will to keep practicing and mastering
driving, you may learn this important lesson. Do not think that it is just a simple driving lesson.
The thing that you learn is unyielding determination. In fact, there will be many hardships
waiting for you so this lesson will be the first solid foundation of your life.
Secondly, another typical lesson that anyone is taught is to keep a healthy lifestyle. This seems
to be a pretty easy thing for many people but when you have had a bad habit since childhood,
you have to persist in the change for a very long time. Certainly, it is not easy. As a result, every
parents always want to teach their children a good lifestyle and get rid of bad habits when they
are just a kid. Cause when you are a child, you are dependent on your parents and those are the
first teachings so anyway you will obey to what they say. On the other hand, this lesson has a
great impact on the future of your child. You can grow up, study well, be smart, work hard but
you are not healthy enough to work so everything is useless. That's why I say that keeping a
healthy lifestyle is a hard but important lesson.
In conclusion, I personally believe that childhood lessons are sometimes more important than
what we learn for the rest of our life. The two paragraphs above have shown us that we need to
be patient and stay healthy. Beside that, we still have plenty of other ones.
