Chap 9
Use the planning process that you have hand-in for the last chapter (chapter 8),
continue to work on it and create a Control process (using the theory in chapter 9).
1.Feedforward
a.Step 1:
-Objective:
+ We could deliver the knowledge of the case study 8, using the
understanding of chapter 8. Make sure every member gets the main
idea of the case study. (since our process stretches from the beginning
to the end of the rehearsal not related to the real presentation in -
class, we will not mention it here)
-Standard
Input:
+All members of teams must get the knowledge about chapter 8 and
partly know how it can be applied into the case study of Walgreens
Output:
+About the content, we must write completely and accurately.
+About the Slides/powerpoint, it must be clear and easy to follow.
+ During the rehearsal, we must present like the real presentation. After
that, each member should've got the idea of the case study distinctly.
b.Step 2:
-All members read the case and comprehended its key point.
-Understand four questions.
-Some of the members don't get the theory.
c.Step 3:
-Since there are some members who don’t catch-up with the theories, they
haven’t met the requirement to step in the next stage.
d.Step 4:
-Ask members to say up what they are concerned/not understand about
them.
2.Concurrent (1) content
a.Step 1
-Objective:
+Make sure the content is finished before 22/5.
+The content must be the same as the above mentioned steps.
-Standard:
Input:
+Read and understand the questions.
+Understand the theory.
+The book is only a synopsis; therefore, you should look for materials
online, and read other sample articles on the website studymode.com.
+Assign a person to do the summary with the request as follows:
Formation process
Development process
Crisis process
Change process after the crisis
+Assign three people to do three questions, question four is difficult so
we need two members to do it.
Output:
+ Question: The answer must be complete in a detailed way, it is
important to apply all the knowledge learned, not rambling, to the right
focus.
+ Summary: Summarizing the main ideas from 100-150 words, we can
collect more information from the internet.
b.Step 2:
-The summary and questions 1, 2 were completed before the allotted time.
-Because the content is in progress and not completed, the slides have not
started yet.
c.Step 3:
-Question 3 and 4 are not completed compared to the original plan.
-The summary is completed to the standard of 100-150 words and the main
ideas are clearly stated.
d.Step 4:
-The content is not finished according to the regulations, so the people who
have finished their part will come in to help complete what is lacking.
-To save time, divide each person's work into individual Canva content
pieces.
3.Concurrent (2) pre
a.Step 1:
-Objective:
+Slides are completed by 24/5.
+Script is completed by 25/5.
-Standard:
Input:
+The content must be properly done and met the standards which
were set at the beginning.
+Choose the style for the slides.

+Assign at least 1 person to work with the slides and at least 2 people to
write the script
Output:
+The slides must show only titles, keynotes, technical words, data,
tables, and charts. It shouldn’t contain too many words.
+The script must be transferred to speak language for a more fluent
presentation and matches the slides.
b.Step 2:
-The script is still in the process of being completed as scheduled.
-The person in charge of controlling the slide is in possession of a canva file.
c.Step 3:
-The script is almost done. 70% ) (
-The members are also reading the script and mastering the slide.
d.Step 4:
-The other team members who don't have any presentation responsibilities
nonetheless need to properly study the script.
-Everything was right on objectives.
4.Concurrent (3)
a.Step 1:
-Objective:
+The speaker is required to present the entire content.
+Rehearsal is completed. ( 27/5 )
-Standard:
Input:
+ The presenter must read the script carefully. The other team members
who don't have any presentation responsibilities nonetheless need to
properly study the script.
+ Slides must be well prepared.
Output:
+ The presenter must attentively read the script and impart facts to the
audience with good emotion and voice.
+ (Act like it’s the real presentation) others must follow carefully and
give feedback (if any), give some questions to the presenter/support
them to answer those questions.
+ After that rehearsal, give feedback on that rehearsal.
b.Step 2:
-The group leader sent one more member to represent to make sure that
when you weren't there, the other members could still do it.
-The presenter followed the correct order.
c.Step 3:
-The rehearsal was more successful than expected.
d.Step 4:
-The presenter should practice more at home.
5.Feedback
a.Step 1 :
-Objective:
+The projects need to be completed and on time.
+Cooperation team members has to be strengthened. between
-Standard :
Input:
+Well-written presentation script, full of content for the reader.
+Lesson content is complete, specific, coherent and easy to understand.
+Slides are clear, decorated in accordance with the lesson theme.
Output:
+Group members understand the content of the lesson.
+The speaker speaks fluently and confidently.
b.Step 2 :
-Group leader gives comments and some suggestions for 3 parts: content,
presentation and rehearsal.
-After hearing the leader's assessment, each member makes corrections to
their actions.
-The speed of the team's work is generally on schedule.
c.Step 3 :
-Although each section is late for some reasons, the final step is not generally
delayed, thanks to cooperation of all members
d.Step 4 :
-The members should revise and keep in mind the leader's feedback to
improve the real presentation.
Self-control:
Based on the processes my team outlined above, I come to the conclusion that we manage in
ways that allow and expect people to control their own behavior, which puts the priority on
internal or self-control. This means helping people to be good at self- management, giving
them freedom, and encouraging them to exercise self-discipline in performing their jobs.
